Would you guys consider an Eros "Authenticated" ad without a TER review as being safe enough, or would you treat it the same as any un-reviewed provider?

EROS is not what it once was.   If they an un-reviewed  you are likely  TOFTT ,   I have not frequent EROS in years and that was were I first broke got into this.

I put no credibility on ads there without validation elsewhere.

How about if providers have professional websites?

That is a plus situation das but still look for a third party opinion.

In cases like you described, the provider sometimes has worked for an agency so has a track record to check if you can find it.

...that all ads would be treated the same, regardless of venue.

There are fake ads everywhere; some people just pay more money to place them.

Authentication is helpful from a legit-provider standpoint; authentication can back up pictures on a website or mentions of a provider looking like her photos in a review.

But regardless of where one would find an ad, i would assume one would use the same scrutiny.  Apparently (and unfortunately), authentications on Eros can be faked (how exactly, I'm not sure).  Getting as much info as you can is helpful.  Does this lady have a professional site? Does she have social media presence? there's a lot to be said for those things.

Someone who is looking to scam you won't be easy to find online.
