If you're a regular hobbyist, always a good idea to get tested so you don't spread things around.  There was some buzz about a popular provider who might have been HIV positive.  I have no confirmation on this but I saw her in June and July so I had some concerns and got tested for HIV and STDs last week.  Got my results today and it was negative on all counts.  It did make me reconsider bbbj but it's hard to resist when a provider is willing and she is very good at it.  Ten plus years as a hobbyist and so far, I have not caught anything yet but it is always a possibility.  Be careful out there.
