I quit picking up hitch hikers for that very reason

One rainy night I saw a elderly lady with her hand out looking like she needed a ride.
 Pulled over told her to hop in.
I thought her rap was weird asking me what I was doing tonight.
A minute later LE had their lights on me.
Turned out she was a street walker.
 Didn't get charged with anything but it took me an hour and an alcohol  breath test convincing police I don't do grannies.
LE also searched my car without my permission.

LAUREL, Md. - Howard County Police arrested twelve people in a prostitution sting on Route 1 in Laurel late last week.

According to police, the operation was the third they've conducted this year.

Female officers working undercover dressed like prostitutes waited on Route 1 to be approached by anyone offering money for sex.

Twelve people were arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution including the following:
•34-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Laurel
•52-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Alexandria, Va.
•46-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Laurel
•32-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Randallstown
•46-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Silver Spring
•49-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) McGruder of Edgewater
•31-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Glen Burnie
•35-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Montgomery Village
•50-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Capitol Heights
•44-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Laurel
•43-year-old (sum-dum-horny-guy) of Columbia

The reviewer picked up a young lady on New York Ave. in NE DC and it turned out she had cityvibe and Backpage ads. So he wrote a review. There may be some guys here who, like those 12 unfortunate fellows, still do that.

Just because you and I never would troll the streets doesn't mean it is a waste of time. Others on here might, and at least one does, so it never hurts to share legitimate LE information.

If you're interested, do a search for "Capri" in DC. I read all reviews of new ladies. Her review was from August 1.

The streetwalker/john stings have been going on in that area for years. Those guys don't use the internet and obviously don't read the papers.

I know a couple guys who are TER reviewers and they a street walker at least once a month in addition to the others providers they.
