Over 12 hours ago the gorgeous Midori posted a pic.   Zero hits.  Board paricipation is dying.  Other adult discussion sites are gloating.   Geesh , this is sad.

Actually, I hit it several times soon after it was posted. Note that there was another post ahead of yours in the thread. If the hit count was zero, it was probably a bug but I don't remember seeing that.

The GD board is still pretty active. People come here for contents; we'll eventually be adapted to the new user interface.

Layout is intended to force people to go to pages they do not want to go. For example, if you want to return to page, you have to scroll all the way down.

Some one mentioned tree layout. This tree layout is not generally called a tree layout, this is more like individual plants or intertwined vine, not a tree with branches.

Changed the positioning of buttons. Really don't get the purpose of the quote button. When you have many headings  with sub headings vertical/horizontal layout is more user friendly. In vertical/horizontal layout, you have the Headings on the vertical axis and when clicks the heading, subheadings are displayed on the horizontal axis. This allows users more flexibility to select main headings instead vertically scrolling to get main headings.

Yes, the board activity is decreased because it takes too much time and some times gives unexpected results.

IMHO and I don't have any ownership or control.

I guess the new site gives some web designers the chance to work their chops, but change merely for the sake of change makes no sense.

Her post has more then 300 hits as of this writing. As for participation here, there are several posts with 800+ hits and minis with over 1000 hits. That looks pretty normal to me.

Looks like thread-bumping is not working properly. They just need to fix the bugs.

By the way, one cannot scientifically prove an opinion, such as "it sucks".
