Some time ago, one of my favorites has told me that she hardly ever gets clients who are the same nationality/race as her.  In fact, although I'm not very fluent, I was one of 2 clients she had in a long while who spoke the same language as she.  

"Common sense" would dictate that majority of clients would be the same race.
Nope.  I personally hardly ever see girls who are the same race as I unless she's drop dead smoking gorgeous in my eyes.

I know that there are some girls who don't appear as attractive to their own race, but her reviews are  excellent and if I was to post a picture of her here and take another appearance rating survey, I'm sure she'll get at least an 8.5 average.  

Maybe it's not all about appearance or preferring own race? It could be purely & solely because majority of the population in DC Area are caucasians?  Actually this last point on geography makes most sense. Maybe I need coffee.

However, there was this one lady a few years ago I wasn't too sure about.

It really depends on my mood. Just like going out for ice cream ... Normally I might get vanilla, but sometimes I just get a hankering for strawberry, coffee, chocolate, maybe even tutti fruitti.

Since few people in our industry take the  technical and statistical method approach like we do, which is unfortunate a lot of neat stuff to learn, many tends go largely  unnoticed.

JCGE your premise has sound elements to it, however what you didn't know is a providers "target audience" can change the outcome.

For example, we target a very specific psychological profile for our clients. Why?  Because we know they consistently manifest a desirable X result. Where as a different profile will manifest an undesirable Y result.
Well, over time one of the things we've learned is within our target audience and with curtain cultures "like attracts like".

Let's use the easiest example:
At one time we had two East Indian providers, during said time frame we were inundated with East Indian men (within our target audience and without) wanting to  see them. If they were not available only about 44% of the measured group could be transitioned to see another associate. The rest, nope.

Of all the groups (within our target audience) we've been monitoring over time Asians and Blacks are the most flexible in-terms of seeing an associate outside their race. Keep in mind this information is to date and we're starting to see slight variance, I suspect do to the economy. With our long time guys they are willing to go outside their comfort zone with other associates within our system.  They have less disposable income and are sticking with the known quantity (us).  As it has been related to me multiple times, "I get one or two shots a month  can no longer afford to miss."

Oh and as a side note the group least likely to see an associate outside their race, within our target audience?

White males.

However, the "hummm interesting" part we've observed based upon information from our OH, KY and Boston affiliates is change ( drop) the socioeconomic  level and you'll get what they call a 'statistically significant' result change.

Translation: The higher you go up the socioeconomic ladder within specific range of personality types, the bigger the stick up their ass about going outside their comfort zone.

As for you theory about geography? Yes we've found it does play a significant role in what kind of outcomes you have.

is one of the perks of the hobby.  Being able to experience different looks and cultures is what I love about this.  I remember my first ebony girl like it was yesterday, though it was decades ago.  Hmmm.  Wonder what she's up to.  lol.

I am open to seeing a lady of any race.  One of my all time fvorites, who I see on a regular basis is from a different ethnic background than me.

Variety, ethnic and otherwise, is one of my main reasons for being in the hobby. I might be in the mood for a mature, curvy redhead one day or a younger, petite Asian woman the next.  And come to think of it, I haven't seen an Asian woman in quite some time. I need to do something about that.

I usually stick to latina's even though I am white middle age and have an above average income.  I have tried a few black providers for the curves and the contrast but I must say that their attitudes have been really bad.  Dead fish experience and dont want much touching.  I have also never done DATY with a black provider but am curious.  I would still like to experience this but she would have a great body, nice face and great attitude.

Consider this concept for a moment.

What you may not know is like other groups blacks are divided into sub-cultures and  social classes, you'll also see this clear delineation with Cubans as well for example.  There are distinct belief system, points of view and education differences, to the point where, like Jews not all the sub groups internally see eye to eye and that is putting it mildly.

It sounds like you've been fishing in the more ghetto oriented state lakes. Which ultimately transcends race since ghetto is ghetto period.  However, reading your post it gives me the impression you might need to change your approach and go more upscale.
