It certainly seems to me that you are being unfairly judgemental by stating that everyone on TER is pretty pathetic.  While I certainly understand that you are entitled to your opinion, that opinion has hints of guilt and anger on your part.  It's apparent that you feel guilty about your prior behavior of being a hobbyist, and angry that YOU made the decision to spend some of your money on that hobby.  Plus, it strikes me as ridiculous that after stating, "that everyone who is on TER is pretty pathetic", you then write that no offense is intended towards "the other hobbyist(sic) or the providers".  That's sort of liking slapping someone hard across the face for no reason, and then telling them to ignore the pain.  Gee, what a nice person you really are.  You also write, "you do whatever you do to maintain your lives".  Wow, how gracious, yet self-righteous of you to be so understanding of others.  
Let me say that I think that it is great that you have found a woman who truly loves you for yourself.  True love is a wonderful gift and am glad for anyone who finds it(Osama excepted).  
Your unsolicited advice to the younger providers -although I don't understand what you have against the older providers by denying them the gift of your wisdom- is quite thoughtful.  
However, speaking for myself, and, I suspect, many other older hobbyists, would like to say to you goodbye and goodluck also, and you know exactly where you can place your pretentious post.

It is funny to see a "Great Guy" pass so much judgement on people that he does not know.

I am sorry that you could not get a decent lay until you were 50, but that is no reason bad mouth decent people.
