Asking providers and agencies to delete personal info

So if you ask them, will they get rid of personal information?
Do most providers and agencies automatically delete work and home info and only keep phone numbers  with  First name and the  initial of last name as one hobbyist suggested?
I bet the agencies and providers that do that will surely become to most popular in the DMV area!
Give me the names of those

Last year an agency went out of business and the owner swore that he deleted all of his records. A week later I got an email from one of the schedulers talking about the new agency she was starting. So much for deleting the information!
I just do the best I can to insulate myself. Get a separate email, phone, and a Date Check ID or some other verification service. If the agency / lady doesn’t accept it, move on. Good luck!

If the info gets deleted it does not matter. Once LE busts them all the cellphones, laptops, books, etc gets taken in as evidence. They have forensic software that is more than capable of recalling deleted info.

So I would like to know which agencies and providers that do this.
They should be known and rewarded for good practices.
Give me some list...

P.S. if one's name  with personal info gets sent out in a mass email, does one need to contact a lawyer?>

Here's a tip. Create a new dummy email account and contact providers you are interested in seeing with some screening info. Then wait 3-6 months and contact them again. Their response wil tell you if they're record keepers or deleters.

About the lawyer, read up on your state's laws and develop some common sense. Usually LE can only make a case against you if you get caught in a sting or the other party cooperates and outs you.

.and those that say they do not keep records are not truthful they all do.

after you become verified and show them that you are a good customer.
Any truth to this?

why every hobbyist needs a hobby email account and a hobby cell phone.  You must always assume that any information you provide will never be deleted and could come into the hands of LE or unscrupulous actors ...

How would any hobbyist "know" whether a particular agency does or does not delete personal information at some point in time?  At most, he would "know" what you "know" - whatever that agency says it does with personal information, which may or may not be true.  Keep asking all you want but at the end of the day, you will still be left in the position of having to believe or not believe what the agency says.  You won't "know" anything, unless the agency gets busted and the authorities say that personal information of clients was recovered from the agency's files.  Then you'll "know" that the agency was lying when it said that it did not keep personal information after verification.  But even that knowledge is based on the assumption that the authorities weren't lying about finding personal information in order to scare hobbyists away from dealing with other agencies in the future.
