Have to admit, today has been tough!!!  WORST client I have ever dealt with, was scared!!!  I know, realistically, no one cares!!!  You can PM me for details!!!

Then a well known provider emails me for a reference and PROVIDES me with to much info.  I have every conversation between she and a dear friend...stuff he would not like to make public...

As you guys know, I am not into role playing, S and M etc....call me a provider prude, not my thing....my friend knew this and went elsewhere for those needs...not a problem!!!  But she included the entire email!!!  He is embarrassed, no need to be, I do not care/judge....but it is a betrayal of trust!!!  What if I were someome else...

I contact the provider, she cares less and evidently was meant for someone else!!!  She sent it to me by mistake!!!   NOT COOL!!!

From now on, if you want a referal from me, I will provide a code word....otherwise , not a chance!!!  To many loose cannons to take a chance with...

Bottom line is, if you want me to give you a reference on any gentleman, you better be a well reviewed, trusted person with discretion...otherwise DO NOT bother!!!  Betty, you can call me anytime...!!!  Some people need to get a clue...not you!!!

we can learn a thing or two from these two great, classy ladies in this chain.  Everyone on this board and involved in this hobby should be concerned about and considerate of not only their privacy, but the privacy of those they see (providers and hobbyists).

Hobbyists can't do anything about that fact

but we can be *very careful* about the information we post in reviews or otherwise pass along, which might have the inadvertant effect of mitigating against the safety and security of providers....

Regardless of how well reviewed the interlocutor, we should be careful not to pass along information other than our opinions about appearance and service, that are not covered in a provider's website or profile

Especially phone numbers or other information that we may have received after being screened but are not meant for the general public, inforamtion about provider's incall locations or other methods of operation.

I have to be honest and I know this board is meant for fun...Debbie Downer time The men here have a lot to lose by loose lips, so do the women, but some of the women seem not to realize the magnitude of an indiscretion...I am FREAKED OUT by it!!!!  I have a LOT to lose by stupdity and I am not willing to put it in the hands of anyone who does not understand the game, on either side!!!  

I am not ready to compromise my life for any of you....get a clue, PLEASE!

I first send an email to women that I will use as references and give them a word or phrase that should be in a legitimate email reference request. If the requestor doesn't use it, they should not respond.

I then give the word to the woman I want to see and tell her to make sure she uses that word in her ref request. I only use 2 or 3 women as ongoing refs so they are used to the routine.

Discretion is most important for all of us.  You two have it right.  

Like GTM said: "providers put themselves in very vulnerable positions as a matter of due course."  This is very true.  Fortunately, most clients are gentleman and there are no problems.  Unfortunately, one bad client can ruin it.

As for private information regarding clients and providers.  It needs to remain private.

I delete all info every three days, I say nothing on a referal, except good or not, I remember every friend, good or bad...and from now on, you want a referal, ask me for a code word...very simple...nothing more said!!!  Respect my limits!!!  I love giving referals to friends but I will not compromise my WORLD for it!!  HATE to give a lecture, not a school teacher  Learn the lesson, tho!!!

I have the gentleman call me to give permission to tell the provider anything. I also want the providers info so I need not search to protect myself.

Wives and LE are something all providers have to be aware of. There is so much info on the web about being a provider that any wife can use it to try a con. LE takes it in and then is one up on us. More money with best programers in the business.

I always check a ladies website before asking for a reference and hope others check me out. Check the note on the bottom of my first page about references.

By the way all I ever say is he's a very nice man please say " hi " for me. I'm not kissing and telling anything except he shorted me or is rough to any lady.

Just as important though, there are folks who do care. Sometimes we learn that too late, or only when something like this happens.

my last thoughts on this are about cleaning our own house. Provides and hobbyists alike. I love the live and let live attitude here, but even we need limits on what we tolerate.

Obviously, physical safety is number one, but the safety of our anonymity is also important - as I learned with a recent online encounter with a provider known for (ahem) issues.

I doubt we'll see the info of this client or provider on the public boards but I think it's important to get the word out on "marginal folks". I am not a fan of marginalizing folks in the "real world. The best we can do here is keep our own family safe.

I do urge a tad more info than good or bad. I mean, if you're a hardcore S&Mer, you might not want to recommend your favourite whipcracker to some young noobie GFE provider

Due to large manhood, I have had more than once, had it mentioned from one lady to another, that she needs to have Magnum Larges on hand. One lady texted me back after checkin my references and said no tks.  I asked if my references did not work. She said yes they worked, but that she had a small vagina and did not want a large me tearing her up. I tried to tell her I was gentle, and that big babies heads come out of there. So maybe it was best I did not see that PYT afterall. Sorry to hear that some dudes can not act nice in a session and have to get all macho aggressive about luv makin.
