hi. I have some questions. hope you can answer. I am trying to go trough the right channels to get verified but all of them looking for place of employment. I am a student here in the US living in DC/Baltimore area...visiting from Peru. What can I do to get verified without providing place of employment. Also, if I give a referral can they be a personal referral? like a friend? and what do this agencies ask? I am afraid they my friend start thinking I am a weirdo! Thanks for your help.

Original poster - Date Check is a good choice to get started - once you see some established ladies you probably can cancel the subscription and use direct references - or spring for the one time lifetime fee if like me you may find it easier.
Ask the verification services/ladies/agencies to verify you using your school directory.
See a lady/agency who only requires to see your ID upon meeting at the appointment.
See an independent lady who doesn't screen or require references. There are a few of them in the area. Hint: they tend to be ones who list phone numbers in their ads and actually pick up the phone when you call.
Of course, everyone you deal with should have a good reputation in the community.
