Why is it that you see some providers post then a week or so they are gone.  You never see their post again?  Is it because they get into the game and find out it is not what they thought?  I had one provider tell me that it is stressfull job I was wondering why

This buisness is very hard to break into, especially with no reviews.  Scares some girls away when the phones do not ring in the eginning!!  Even then you are later subjected to much scruitiny, lets face it.  Not easy to be constantly judged, takes some getting used to.

I, for one, learned the hard way, not to post discounts for TER guys.  Some guys took advantage of the specials and I was just not their type.  My last 2 reviews reflect that.  Bad decision on my part!!!  Always a learning game, I guess!!!  JMO!!

1. Not taking the time to learn to rules of this site.

2. First time posters are moderated. They get once chance to mess up. They get a warning and never read it because they don't have a VIP account.

3. The next time the ad does not go up because they are not being TER compliant with TER logos on their website/ads.

A few have told me they get much more exposure to eros or other sites such as backpage.  

Eros is now advertising on porn sites, lol.

For someone new who posts here her chance of getting any results is slim but to put her ad on BackPage or CL gets her some attention right away. Posting your "new" here puts up a red flag for most gentlemen but on other sites it's a green flag.

Putting an ad on TER does have rules that sometimes are not known by new providers and posting an ad for the first time can be a real challenge.

The most important part of this story for a new provider is that she hasn't thought through how she was really going to handle what she was about to partake in. Many think it will be easy until they get involved. Lots more goes to being a provider than jumping in bed with some one. Although the session is over and the gentlemen is gone shutting your emotions off just isn't all that easy.

Giving specials to draw attention is bad. It may get a few good reviews but keeping them is really hard. I had a gentleman who saw two ladies and gave them so so reviews then he saw a lady and gave her a great review. He used her as his reference. I called the other ladies and found that this gentleman wanted more time than he wanted to pay for. I know this other lady would have checked his references. Well she offered a special buy one hour for 200 and get an additional hour free. I choose not to play that game and passed this gentleman by. To bad the gentleman didn't relize he was being used and that other ladies may feel the same as I do.

What works one time wont always work.

Girls expect a few strong reviews are gong to carry them. Well in 2004 maybe but not in 2010. I have seen girls who think they should charge say $350 just because, or because they saw somoene else's ad and assumed she was doing fine with it so she should be able to get that rate too.

They dont recognize or appreciate the choices available now. I mentioned to a friend of mine some very attractive BP ads are in the $$ range from well reviewed legitimate sources. She wasnt happy to say the least but needed to know the $350+ wasnt probably going to happen for her.

You couple this together with the fact it is stressful (being nice to someone you truly dont care for isnt a fun thing to do for an hour or more) You can do it, your getting paid for it, but it is work.

Then there is the worry about all manner of things like perhaps a negative review if his every little wish and hope isnt met..trying to figure out what he really expects..

You get the picture. I told someone the other day what you do sometimes, is a public service. It really is and for the true professionals among us they deserve high respect. They sure have mine. She laughed about the public service comment but didnt disagre. After thinking about it some more, I thought this post was a good place to include my comment to her.

Now as for the new kids, they have a steep fast learning curve and many just opt out after giving it a whirl...returning when funds run low perhaps out of absolute necessity.

I don't really see what's wrong with those reviews. This could just as easily have been anyone - discounted or not.

This all goes back to the review inflation issue. I think 7 is pretty darn good in general, and the reviews said generally nice things, with one guy admitting you weren't his cup of tea.

Even if 7 isn't a decent rating, I see all the other reviews, which are pretty consistent, and I can easily discount the oddball ratings.

I know we clients are a pretty dense bunch, and only think with the smaller head but I think I can read that and make an intelligent assessment of the review.

Wow, that is very interesting, seriously. Of course it's a business...but it's oh so personal.  It would be interesting to see what both the guys and gals have to say about this. When it clicks the emotions can sure run on for a man too!

Please do not misunderstand me...my problem was the fact that both reviewers told me that I was not really their cup of tea, one stated it in an open forum, after the fact.

Hit the wrong key...meant to say, a smile and kind words make for a hotter party!!!  Otherwise it makes it mechanical and not so much fun!!!

When Beef and I hung out, he was great,,,I am not exactly a PYT, his type, but he came in with a smile, charm, etc....and it was what it was meant to be!!!!!  Sorry to harp on it, but Beef rocks...he likes what he likes but is always aware...

I agree with Sswede's earlier comments about public service, and expectations.  

While it is a livelihood for the provider--livelihood sounds better than job--it is that.  Like any profession, it is as good as you can make it--some will always put more effort into it than others. Angelina definitely puts effort in.

A session is always a two way street; even if a provider is on a par with an academy award winning actress, it is hard if there is not some little chemistry, or at least an attempt to make some.  

A smile (yes even for us shy guys)--or a kind word really do matter.  What it boils down to is some gratitude for the service.  Remember, she does not have to see you.  She has some choice here too.  You have to get beyond an air that "hey I am paying here, so make it good."  A smile, a few kind words (hygiene of course if a given), and very important, respect is what she should get when you meet, talk on the phone etc. That can go a long ways toward a very very good time.  

Guys have to put some effort into making her feel a little special.  Sure I know we are the customer.  However, if you only look it at that way, then chances are you are going to be donating for many many mechanical meetings, as opposed to some pretty mutually enjoyable meetings---ones that you want to remember and not ones you want to forget.  

I know this is not fool proof.  There will be some providers where it is just nothing but a job, and very mechanical no matter how hard you try, particularly if you are not much to look at.  That is part of the hobby, and understanding that makes me all the more appreciative of the Angelinas out there.  Ang really does put an effort out, and I have to believe (the reviews seem to back this up) for all, if you treat her right.  Her kind are very few in number in MHO.

Everybody too does have their own types, their own dislikes and that is why there will never be a 100% success rate for any provider.  However, I do have to ask, who were these imbeciles, these two reviewers?  There are not too many providers out there in this town that can rival Angelina on looks, on effort and most importantly on (a good) attitude.  

The old saying: you treat her right, then she will treat you right, generally works.  In this case, Ang loves what she calls a job and it shows. Maybe it won't work 100% of the time, because as the old song from 60s went, "people are strange."  

Having said all of this, way too much, houngdog69 is also right on the money here.  There will always be some oddball reviews that have to be discounted.  Consistency among the vast majority of reviews is what really counts.

Just try to remember though that a smile, and a few kind words, do go a long long way in just about everything we all do.
