Could be the huge military presence.  Every service is represented. That area is also very compact (VA Beach, Norfolk, Hampton Roads, Chesapeake).

Yes there are alot of horny soldiers and sailors around that area, but (unless they changed the pay scale drastically since I got out) I can't imagine too many of them can afford this type of hobby.

I might be suprised; however, I would still say that it would have to be the officers.

(according to an NCIS officer I know) that the large ships, carriers, etc. are floating cathouses.  You have thousands of men on those ships, and a very few women who are making less than 20k a year.  And you have a bright, enterprising non-com type group of guys who are up from the street, who can step in as pimps.

My friend says, forget the TV show, NCIS spends most of their time busting this type of stuff on ships.  

Guys will pay for it, even if they are no well paid themselves, especially when it is scarce.  I am sure there are a few guys here at TER who are in the same boat.  (pun intended)

Having spent all of my time in the Tender Navy where you had 5 to 600 women out of a total of 1500 crew members; there was not alot of that going on. Perhaps, I just did not notice it at that time. Considering the amount of time I spent in the gym back then, it is very concievable that it was going on under my nose, and I did not even notice it.

Less competition!  Look at eros-dc and you see 200+ ladies!

If a provider with good reviews goes to va bch she can clean house.  All the agencies in that area are either rub and tug or rip-offs.

Sure there are some good providers that live there but they can't service all the demand.

Another good example is Cleveland/Columbus Ohio.  When I first got into this hobby/"addiction" there were no traveling ladies on eros-ohio!  Now look at it there are at least 100+.  Sites like this and eros lessen the chance of getting taken

Well from my frequent visits to fort hood it's run amuck. Everything from gangbangs of enlisted girls, to lesbien shows, and secret tapes circulating around base. There is even a secret tape rumored to be of Jessica Lynch, the blond POW floating around. I wasn't enlisted but my best friend was. And when we went around town we got propositions everywhere(walmart, i-hop, bars, strip clubs). It's just the economics of these base towns.
