I realize I am going to take some incoming heat on this one, but here it goes.
I am not new to the hobby by any stretch on the imagination. However, I am still getting used to the rules of chessboard here in the DMV. So, help me out with this one. And be nice....
I don't give out names of people I have seen unless I have their consent. I also feel SUPER uncomfortable calling and asking a "great date" whom I'd love to keep seeing, to give me a referral to a competitor (this is probably the old manager in me). So, please answer this for me (and I'm sure its been discussed on this board before) how do I best manage this process? Ladies, do you expect to get from other ladies re: guys you've seen before? Do you require that I get your consent before asking other ladies to call you?
I hate to keep going to the same 3 references all the time. Not really fair to them all things considered Any thoughts?
(prior to all of this it is important to ask the lady you are asking the referal of initially. If a client doesn't want to keep asking the same lady for a ref the lady you asked the referal FOR ask her for the next referal.)
Any seasoned hobbyist should know unless you are a ladies prior client or reular you are going to be asked for a refferal. If you have don't get asked for a refferal as part of your screening process (unless you are a newbie) you should have a doubt in your mind. EVEN if a client has a p411 or datecheck with 100 refs on it a LADY STILL NEEDS TO ASK FOR A RECENT REFERAL. I could give a guy the thumbs up 2009/4 on date check Tayjon could give him one 2008/8 and maybe Betty in 2009/4.....Vanica could go to see him in January and had she have called Betty maybe Betty might have same hey shit I forgot to take him off my date check list the last time I saw him he had a problem that I didn't appreciate, cheated me, hit me up, was a NCNS etc. REFEREALS ARE A MANDATORY!
AS for asking a great date for a referal. No client is any provider's hubby or bf. They may be a little disappointed about that dae flying out the window but it's not tha serious clients cum and go lol.
So don't sweat refferals your ladies friends aren't going to be mad you are asking for them.
