So I was looking at the Top 10 Posters page and noticed that the only credentials are the amount of posts that they have posted.
  So does this mean that that's just the people that post the most or do they gain position off of the Quality of what they actually have to say as well???

But you may opt of of being listed there by going to the "Account Manager". You may not want to be the top poster. A lot of old timers have opted out -- too much attention from LE. About 5 years ago, the top posters on this board have more than 300 posts a month.
