is that, for the real thing, you need to make the trip to the Far East, ideally to Bangkok or Tokyo, tho Hong Kong is also a decent alternative.  I have a close friend who's experienced nuru in Bangkok and the USA and he says there's no comparison, cost or servicewise and I believe him.  Among other things he said the gel that the Thai ladies use in Bangkok is almost unobtainable here.

Finally don't let the airfare put you off -- it's not unreasonable for the distance and the service on Far Eastern flights, even in economy, is excellent.
