I have been around the hobby for a bit and I am amazed at  reviews for ladies that are very poor (7's  or below) for rates that I consider to be excessive for what you get.  I saw a review today for a lady who was charging $800.00 for 90 minutes and her reviews were not good.  just needed to vent.  Be safe.

LOL. Submitted too quickly.

And I will man up and state that I’ve played the fool as well. I recently dropped $600 (not quite the $800 rate OP mentioned) on a lackluster session with a companion I had been dying to see for a while. She used to have reviews on this board, but they were scrubbed. My memories of her reviews were that they were pretty good, but for $600, I shouldn’t have relied on memories.

Fool me once…

Even paying $400/hour for mediocre service/looks is baffling, but goes to show we don't often think with our big head.

You and I have both been in this game for a lot of years.
I know, like me you like the Asian women.
Agencies ,specifically K agencies are still the best value in the nation. Even though they've gone up over 300 and used to be 200.
Still an amazing value.
And yes there are a lot of overpriced ladies out there. I suppose if you're hitting the high dollar ones, at least there's less mileage and wear and tear on the equipment.

I wouldn't count on that.

Yep
One cannot count on that anymore.

Someone's point about inflation is a good one.  A year ago we were talking about how covid shifted the supply/demand equation and prices were out of whack.  Many of us (me included) thought equilibrium would return to the market once covid passed.

BUT

Now that covid has relaxed a bit, inflation has all of a sudden become a legit factor.  I saw on the news that prices for air and hotel are skyrocketing.  I want to say hotel rooms are up 40%?  Don't quote me on that but for some reason that number is in my head.  I haven't checked flights in a while but last time I traveled for work I was surprised at the cost.

All this is to say we might have to reluctantly come to terms with broader and more permanent shift in the price structures we've been used to for the last decade.

None of this accounts for lackluster service tho.

Why?
400 an hour, untaxable, is pretty damn good money for the average American.

I understand all of that my concern is that the price versus the services seem to be way out of alignment.  Charging $500-$600 and getting reviews with 7's does not make sense to me.  Thaks.

I think part of the explanation is that you, me and most other people are making a comparison that is perhaps invalid now. It's a bit like my dad used to do to me when I was growing up. He grew up in the Great Depression and for him those were the prices -- "In my day a loaf of bread was 5 cent. Hell if I am going to pay (or give you) a dollar for X."

Well, the world has moved on in some ways. Doesn't mean we should just shrug our shoulders and pay for bad service but we have two really difficult forces at work. The pandemic really seems to have reduced quality (I suspect something of a supply side explanation on that) while both the pandemic and current impacts have all worked to drive inflation much higher. Perhaps we should view the state of things as basically symptomatic of a stagflation event in our corner of the economy.

BUT, if does seem that we're turning a bit of a corner in that we're now getting some better options and not at that $5 - $6 range.

Certainly not in my experiences. I continued seeing ladies since covid started (originally in NY & NJ and then DC when I got down here). I have not seen any decline in quality, at least among who I have seen and never go above 500, with most between 300 and 400.

Well Sabrina, Christie, Alyse, Missy are all outliers. I truly applaud you for your selection.
But the current crop is no where near that.

The problem is, I am used Gina Rollins types...
High energy, total dedication, incredibly sweet, zero drama.

I know not everyone can be in the leagues of Gina, but hey a 10% of hers could be a decent session, IMO.

Price in this game doesn't necessarily mean quality. But, shades of grey. You're more likely to get a better-looking provider and better service than lower price points, but no guarantee. There are some top-notch providers in both looks and service at the agency level these days. To the point, I've abandoned the indies except for three that I see on a consistent basis because of their looks and service; Juliette, Giselle, and Sasha.

The price point is just too wide these days between indy and agency to go indy. Also, I think agencies have an advantage in price points because they aren't always renting hotels.

Finding a hot American, English-speaking, big gravity-defying natural tits, blonde hair, and blue-eyed provider will always be the most expensive option.
