Predictions were that we would get a brief flurry. We did. Fortunately, the county was braced for it. LOL.

So, one could look out the window and say, "It is snowing."  

But, there was no snow on the ground.  

Pretty far South for such "nasty" snow-related weather.  

The wind was another matter, however. On a much more serious note--we got hit by a tornado a couple counties over. Some people got killed. It was quite the wind and light show.

Hi All-

  I wanted to pass along a few updates.

  Metro will suspend bus service Friday afternoon at 5:00 pm, and ALL Metro rail service at 11:00 pm.  Metro will remain closed till Monday morning.  This includes above, and below ground trains.

  Snow emergency route/lane rules, will take effect Friday morning at 9:30 am.  You will not be ticketed, but towed.  

  Wishing all of you, a safe weekend.

its forecast to 20-30 inches of snow.  That's worthy of a WOW!!  Wherever you are Friday at 6:00 PM might be where you'll be until Monday or Tuesday!

But the depth of snow will be too much to plow through. 6inchs and greater, not possible. Hope the keep up clearing the roads. All stocked up, wine, 2 cases of beer, and enough food for a week. Can't wait, I love this shit. PM me if you need to be rescued :)
