Folks be careful. Looks like the customers got tied up and robbed. The provider was forced to give free service. Makes you wonder how these guys found out about the apartment ?

I think a better question would be how the cops just "happened" upon the aprtment looking for a suspect.  Did they have it under surveillance the whole time?

This is another reason to legalize this trade.

...is still rape.  Hope the girls are OK and bad guys burn.

Thats is why providers must screen and use references. Things are getting very dangerous. Also traffic to incall locations should be reduced so people won't see what is going on. There are few girls out that who like to brag how many guys they can do in a day but now is the time to be moderate and careful.

I am sure these gangs such as MS-13 are looking at the provider market for cash flow.

There is a related story (also in the Washington Post -- link below) about the cops busting up a ring that brought illegal immigrant girls down from New York.  According to the article, "The owners advertised by word of mouth and by handing out business cards, the source said. They catered almost exclusively to Hispanic men, the source said. The source said the ring has operated out of at least 20 area establishments."

It sounds like this may not have been connected directly with the place that got robbed by the MS-13 guys, but it certainly seems like a plausible business model for the short-term, at least.  I'd be very surprised if there weren't several different operations like this (although perhaps on a smaller scale) up and down the East Coast.

Getting robbed is one of the risks of doing business like that.  I've read of illegal card rooms getting robbed, too -- the thinking seems to go along the lines of "They can't call the cops, because they'll have to say what they were doing, which will get them busted."

I'm reminded of a line from the old Glenn Frey song, "Smuggler's Blues"... "You've got to carry weapons, 'cause you always carry cash".
