with a well known agency. they keep asking for the same information over and over. Appears to be 2 screeners so is it possible they don't talk to one another or are they just stupid? They are starting to turn me off using their agency.
Hello, I would like to get an opinion on this topic. I filled out a request form for a VIP provider (on her website). She had 7-8 reviews. The reviews seem to be real. I filled out all of the info they asked for. Then they came back asking me to verify my home address. I gave 2 recent well reviewed references as well as my real name and zip code. ( I didn't feel comfortable providing this info. Am I over reacting?
no way would I ever give my home address, real name or even work address or phone. That opens you up for all kinds of problems if they get busted. First thing LE is going to do is go to their computer and look up their list of Johns. You 've read the stories in the Washington Post about previous incidents.
If they can't feel safe knowing I am on TER and give a couple of good references of previous appointments, then I'll find one that will. Too many out there to take a chance like that.
Well she probably already has your home address from your real name and zip code so I dont think verifying it is that big of a deal. She just wants to be safe and know who she is about to spend time with. If you dont like her screening methods move on and find another provider. No sense in getting frustrated.
Although I sometimes find some screening routines to be somewhat tedious, I find it hard to disagree with this approach. I have always assumed the more rigorous the screening, the worse the past experience was that made the person feel it was necessary. M5M

As has been discussed before here I find the whole "VIP" world to be a marketing tool/excuse for unnecessary screening and inflated pricing. Afer years of hobbying and sampling all levels of provider offerings I now view the "VIP" advertising method as a red flag and typically don't go there. At the end of the session what does a "VIP" provider offer that a "non-VIP" does not? Of course one's own goal/s for a session will ultimately dictate the need to schedule with a "VIP" or not. But I've not experienced any consistent above-and-beyond service level or quality from VIP vs. Non-VIP so why put up with the overly cauteous screening and inflated pricing?
Dont say that as if its some sort of rule or as if the lady who requested the address is wrong. You dont know her reasons and with ass kissing comments like this ladies like you make it hard for us to screen properly because guys thing they dont NEED to give up info. For all you know this guy has the same name of some weirdo and the provider just wanted to make sure it wasnt the same guy or something. You stick to your screening meathods, Ill stick to mine and lets not judge other providers for how they choose to screen.
Between bites and before that nag starts grating on my nerves again, let me get in my two bills worth There are plenty of good agencies and independents to choose from that don't require verification of your home address (unless you're scheduling an outcall to your home) so move on to them. VIP is nothing more then a marketing acronym to justity Very Inflated Prices.
