Have you sent a follow-up email?

As we all have experienced, emails can get lost - put in a spam filter without our knowing, etc.

If you haven't followed up sine Sunday, then I'd say this one is on you, and it's time to move on and chalk it up to experience.

If you've sent follow-ups, such as "Are we still on?" or something to that effect, then she's either flaked out, gotten busted, gotten sick, or just plain scared of you.

Bottom line - at this point, your not getting screwed - well, you did get it, but not the way you wanted it.

just sayin'

This is not the first time this has happened thought it is rare.

After screening and setting up a date with a provider, her last communication is I can see you Wednesday at 2pm.  i agreed to the time and then nothing.  Our last communication was Sunday.  It's now Wednesday and its 10.33 and i have still not heard anything nor do i have her phone number?

Would you still wait or just move on?  If I do go see her, I would have to hear from her by 12:30 so i can get to her place.

i am tempted to just send her an email explaining the situartion and thanksing her for her consideration and maybe next time.

Have you seen how many providers there are in this area at any given time?  It's a buyers market, friend.  Move on!

back when ever it is convenient for them, and that can take weeks and possibly even a month. I usually book at least four providers at the same time, and however replies the fastest gets my money. Also, it's more of a professional thing to me.

Just like in other business. If I email one of my supervisors or coworker, I'd expect an email back before the end of the day. We live in a modern technological world, where having access to your email is just a handheld device away.

.....if you primarily work by email or email only 2 days max response it what it should be unless something serious happened in her personal life.

If a provider knows she's bad at responses herself  then it's time for an assistant.

some providers will not respond, and yes, it will take them up to a month to respond. Don't ask me why, it's just how it is.

You are right about one thing, some providers definitely need an assistance.

....even at the slowest response for any provider i've EVER emailed or PM'ed to get back to me.  Therefore everything I previously said still stands.
