Ok, the date is set. The Happy Hour will be held on the 11th of November starting at 4:00 p.m. (end time unknown) Location will be in the Laurel Md area.

I will not be posting the exact location on the board so don’t ask. This will be given to those who are either well known, well reviewed, or have providers references.

I have 2 places in mind. One is public that serves food and drinks. The other is private and has a bar. This one comes with a fee which I will front but pass the hat for donations from guys. Providers are welcome at no cost.

I ask everyone - which would you prefer? Your answer can be posted here. I encourage all Hobbyist to contact their ATF's to let them know. If you have not requested to be put on the invitation list, please do so now. This will also help in determining which place to select.

Email me at [email protected] or send a PM.

Only those who can make this date, time and location will be given the location.

If this plan doesn't work out - you can find me at the local pub enjoying some well deserved R&R over a pint of my favorite Ale.

I'm sure the guys will be generous enough to buy our ladies a round - at least I hope so...

I will follow up one more time early next week and send the address a couple of day before Friday to those who are interested in coming.

If we do choose the private location, I will provide some means to verify those accepted from the invitation list. (not all the details have been worked out).

I already have one (or 2) willing provider helping with the details. If others have ideas or wish to help, please step forward. I’m hoping to find a replacement coordinator for the future Meet and Greet events.

The Meet and Greet is open not only to TER members and Indy providers, but I encourage any agency to come out and join us. The more the merrier – LOL…

What do you think the chances are that our Jeopcon will attain the 300 mark by this time? I doubt he will, but I am often wrong.

For a change, I like the idea of the "private" place, slip.  Besides, it always seems like we can do MORE in private...;)

Doing more might put us back at the Pub. Private is not what it appears. It is in a public place yet has a private area for meetings. Nothing more then what we do in the Pub will be done here.

So, if you figure there might be a little extra, a little more, or suggest others services will be provided - wrong, so don't bother coming if that's what you expect.

Ponz - this wasn't only for your information - but anyone else who thinks Private means more.

A man can dream, can't he?  Besides, just wanted to see if you were awake.  Of course I knew better (dernit)...  Still, there is something that sounds special about "private".  Obviously, you thought so.  You know better than to think that reality would keep me from coming (or IS our bunch for real??)...

Hehe, I just found it funny that you chose Veteran's Day for the Veterans of the DC board to meet.

I meant no disrespect for the all soldiers that have fought for our great Country.

I will try to attend. It certainly would be nice if some providers can attend. I realize there will be no hanky panky on premises but maybe later. It's also interresting to get the gals perspective in our discussions.

You guys are a trip. Would love to bang a few beers with ya all..... Laurel might be doable for me next week... Z

As usual even with all the work "weeds" you come through.

Laurel is good. Centrally located (sort of). Public or private doesn't matter. After all, it is just a meet and greet, but the Pub may have an advantage if anyone is hungry.

Saw the shin-dig and was thinking of visiting anyway.
Any thoughts on this and is it worth the trip?
I am curious to meet several of you. ;)

XOXOXOXOXO

You are always welcome to join in any meeting or happy hour I go to - I'm sure no one will turn you away... As for it being worth the trip - that is a loaded question - LOL...

Oh, BTW, this location is closer to BWI - just in case you need a taxi - LOL... Can't promise - but you could alway call me. And if I'm not available, I'm sure someone else would be happy to come get you.

I'll send you an email soon.

Well, BWI is only 5 miles from MY place and is on the way to Laurel from here.  Think you could manage with THIS taxi driver, Angie??

...although I'm not sure if that's an incentive or a deterrent.

I'm only 15 minutes from the airport and know my way to the party locale if you'd like to ride with me.

Mrs. L has apparently been reading the boards again, having suddenly taken an unprecedented interest in what I'm doing the evening of the 11th.
