You may have missed earlier this year when Va was forced by a TX court Supreme Court decision in 2003 that decriminalized sodomy, and repealed the law that criminalized ANY sex between unmarried couples...(Before 2005 ANY nonmarried folks having sex were criminal sex offenders)....the ruling drags Va kicking and screaming all the way into 20th century. In their ruling they overturned the basis for the anti-sodomy statutes, which included (!) oral sex. [Why these two were linked I'll never know, but I've long suspected its because they didn't know their ass their head]
A good friend of mine was convicted as a sex offender under this statute several years ago, and it hurt her badly - she lost her job, spent thousands in court fees, was registered as a sex offender, parole officer supervision, etc....all because she was 'caught' on digifilm and prosecuted for blowing her date in the back of a crowded bar.
