I'm a person who gets to Tyson Corner only a few times a year. I just started reviewing on my last trip. I always had a complaint that I looked a choices of girls in town, but no up to date reviews. Now I get a Review from a person who was with her as short as a day ago. My only wish is that more people would review. You know that they see several guys a day for a week, but in most cases only one or two reviews show up. I would hope that out of the week that maybe 25% would review.
Really impressed with the speed in which reviews are getting posted these days. Honestly, I never felt an urgency to submit a review for a touring babe because I knew she would be long gone by the time it was posted. I need to change my thinking...lol I submitted my latest review yesterday morning and find it posted today...wow!
they couldn't be possibly reading our reviews for details. Don't get me wrong, I am a veteran hobbyist myself, and I am too impressed that they are approving it so quickly. I am very careful not to put any sensitive stuff in there, but not every one is that careful. I made some stupid mistakes when I was a rookie,and I am glad that they were caught and corrected.
As with any other new hobbyist, it does take time. I have to disagree with you that TER does not read reviews. I am sure they do spend time reading reviews.
As to why some reviews are approved so early, well, I think its for established reviewers. And, I think it comes to their list faster, then they skim through it, then approved it. JMO.
have an algorithm to pick up on unacceptable references... as a review I posted was originally rejected (I had 420 references in it), then fixed it and it went right through within the hour... so they may not read them but it would seem they have some sort of scanning procedure...
After writing a review, I usually go back to check it for errors. So, it took me about 30 minutes to write the review, then I submitted it. I then immediately went back to the review, spent 5 minutes checking it for errors, then resubmitted it.
The status for "new" in review became "approved". Beat that!
