Enjoy your cruise!

I am taking a cruise next week or within two weeks with the SO since she has been nagging me about it. I've never been in a cruise before and need some advice. I am not trying to overspend on a cruise. Price range should be around $350-$450 per person, and I would like a 3 night and 4 day cruise. I am not trying to buy any extravagant cruises, nothing too pricy, since I will probably spend another $500 within those days for food, entertainment, and so on. But, I am looking for some decent entertainment, accommodations, good rooms, and restaurants within the cruise.

What I am looking for: is there any place within the MD/DC/VA area where I can buy a cruise tickets? Also, I do not want to travel far for the cruise, possibly park my car within the MD/DC/VA area and go on the cruise from there. I hope I don't have to buy a plane ticket to go on a cruise--I hope not, but I might if need be. Any suggestions? I haven't research yet, and just need some advices. Thanks. Also, attach a link if possible. Thanks again.

but they do cruises out of Baltimore.  One thing I do know is the earlier you book the cruise the cheaper it is so if you are looking to go soon it may be more expensive.  However, you can get really good deals if you book a few months out.

I'm giving the link to where you can find information about what is being offered, where it is going, and the different ships.  Hope it is helpful.

Its good to know that I don't have to buy a airplane ticket to anywhere. Also good to know that Baltimore provides a place to leave, instead of flying to Miami, FL, or other destinations. Also good to know that Baltimore accommodates good cruises such as the carnival to Bermuda or the Bahamas. It's a bit pricey to book within a week, but, its not that pricey. Found a 7 day cruise for $700, not bad, $100 a day. Anyways, thanks.

it is true to get a good deal is book a few months in advance and get a passport (if needed).  But also I have ran across some great deals surfing the net, for cruises that are less that a couple weeks out for as much 50% off so the cruise can fill empty cabins.  I am not into last minute deals.  I suggest you do your homework on the net and consult with a couple travel agencies.  Good luck and let us now how it went.

Baltimore is a shipping dock and can accommodate most major cruise lines. For example, the carnival uses Baltimore to go to Bahamas or the Bermudas. Some destinations can't be from Baltimore, and you have to buy a plane ticket to other cruises. I know what you mean by last minute deals, I couldn't find any that fit my schedule. As for now, I found a deal next week for a 7 day cruise for $700, maybe $750, it sounds like a lot, but its like $100 per day. Not bad, its a vacation, and I can't complain about that. I am just looking forward to escape when the dock lands to specific spots with the SO. Anyways, thanks.
