There are simply too many differing opinions as to what it really means to call any one of them the true definition.
I can tell you my definition and to me it's more attitude than menu items. To me a GFE is when "you fuck me like you mean it" great kissing is about the only "menu item" that is 100% required IMO, I don't even need a blow job at all for it to still be GFE, sometimes we simply don't get around to it, but I will say a CBJ will kill the GFE mood for me. I would honestly rather skip the blow job altogether rather than get a CBJ.
Now after re-reading your post, i may have it wrong, I read your post as the "true meaning of GFE" but after re-reading it what you actually said was the definition of "true GFE" which might be construed as BBFS. If so, my bad. If you are reading "true GFE" as a euphemism for BBFS, I probably wouldn't disagree with that line of thinking.

GFE is such an obscure and undefined term that it reminds me of the Supreme Court's definition of hard core pornography:

As far as I'm concerned, if it includes a nice long DATY Session, its GFE to me.
My definition of GFE mirrors that of NOVADATYguy, I'll know what it is when I see it.
Of course, it culminates with great, unbelievable sex, and it also includes connecting on a different level. One where the lady and I are able to talk about things and are comfortable with each other. We know what we like and celebrate special days and events.
Awesome great sex? Yes
Connecting on a personal level? Definitely
maybe the girlfriend experience is like me as a real girlfriend.. Starts out all exiting and passionate; then I get bored, sleep with someone else and… leave.

I have the same confusion about PSE. I do everything a PSE does except FIV and facials. GFE is pretty simple with BBJ and DFK/LFK
For it to be GFE for me, it has to be about more than services on the menu.
Things I associate with GFE are when she insists on DFK frequently through the session; when she wants to go out to restaurants, shows, and concerts together; talking to each other about our real lives; and (if we are not at risk of running into someone we know) engaging in PDAs.
I haven't encountered the term "true GFE," but I wouldn't necessarily interpret it to mean BBFS. I would guess that it means good acting on the part of the provider or cuddling and role-play.

attitude. As stated earlier, kissing like you mean it and connection like you mean it and sex like you care. Passion is important but will come with the connection. As someone else cbj kind of spoils the mood but bbfs would also spoil the mood. If my girlfriend had as many boyfriend as you ladies, I'd be wearing a condom with her as well. I agree with you because I had an experience with a client who used the same term. When he mentioned it, my response was:
“I don't typically use the term ‘true GFE’ in regards to the experience I provide because it carries an industry connotation of certain unsafe practices. But it will certainly be an evening to remember, I'm sure!”

My definition:
LFK, DFK, making out and being all up in each others face, taking her time, easy conversation, flirting, petting, stoking, playfulness, laughter, comfort. In short, it's not all about the physical aspect of the appointment, but also about having an unsaid connection with a provider.
Anytime someone adds “true” or “ultimate” in front of these acronyms, I feel they are referencing BBFS
