your personal phone is leaving a trail to the hobby.

So today I'm at work and I receive a groups text message from a provider who is looking for some business.

At first I ignored the message then I started receiving texts from 2 or three other numbers that were part the group.  Obviously hobbyists asking for photos, availability, hours etc.  At this point I sent a text and asked to be removed...then I received about 2 others and asked to be removed again, (then received a rude text telling em to F-off from some ass-hat).  Thankfully, the texts finally stopped.

Ladies, please don't do this.  If you want to drum up business through texting, then copy and paste but always to separate phone numbers.  I think we can all imagine why group texts are a bad idea.  I got nothing to worry about as I'm single but who knows what numbers are attached to what numbers or who is intercepting messages.  It's just a bad idea.

Anyway, be safe out there.

that is attached to a hobby phone, which is bought by paying cash..

If I start getting spammed, I will just quickly log into Google Voice and disable call and text forwarding option. Thankfully, all the providers that I have dealt with recently have been very professional and non invasive.

You should look into Google Voice.
