Gaylord

I have stayed at Gaylord. The place is so big, especially the lobby, and so many people go in and out, I don't see anyone would notice anyone.  Of course if the lady is so obvious, and looks like a "pro", then maybe someone might say something.  Most of the ladies I suspect know how to be discreet when doing outcall.

Will be attending a conference in DC in a few months. Will be staying at the Gaylord where the conference will be held. Couple of questions. Are they "girl" friendly? Can I have someone visit me with no problem? What area is this close to? Is this a long drive to other parts? Thanks for any info.

The Gaylord is, I believe, the big new conference center on the East (maryland) side of the Woodrow Wilson bridge.

Assuming it is, it is large enough that a well dressed lady should have little trouble going in and out but I have no experience.  I have talked with some ladies who have stayed there and their appraisals were mixxed.

Right near there is NOTHING you want to wander to on foot outside of the very immediate area.  You definately need a car.

Closest area would be to get on the DC beltway heading West (the "inner loop" from there) a short hop across the new Woodrow Wilson bridge.  At the first exit get off and go north to the Old Town Alexandria area.  Drive time 10 min without traffic.  Up to an hour or more if traffic is especially bad that day.  Crystal City is another 10-15 min farther north on Jeff davis Hway with low traffic.  Again, with bad traffic it could take days.

Hope this helps.

the new ('emerging') National Harbor complex south of DC proper on the Potomac River.  It is a built-from-scratch new hotel/restaurant/convention center complex that has not quite completely caught on just yet.  There are two issues with it; first, it is not convenient to get from there to anywhere else in the DC area; public transportation is limited to a N1 Metrobus that takes 20+ minutes to get to the nearest Metro stop, which is the end of the Green line and another 15 minutes from downtown (Branch Avenue).  So unless you have a car it's a bit tough to get to anywhere outside of National Harbor; they designed it that way so convention visitors would patronise the restaurants, clubs & bars there.
Second issue is that it's in Prince Georges County, MD, not DC.  I don't reallly know if they're more vigilant for providers than the DC Metro police, but there have been a few reports.  PG County generally has a higher crime rate than most places in the DC area, not sure if that affects National Harbor or not.
Anyway, there are a number of providers that do frequent National Harbor, so it can't be too bad, LE-wise.  Bottom line: unless you'll have a car, incalls in the city are pretty much not in play, and with a car, they're still 1/2 hour away plus parking.  Ladies offering in Tysons Corner (a popular location) are at least a 1/2 hour away unless it's rush hour (3:00-7:00 PM) when you can double that.  BWI, another popular place for incalls, is also at least 1/2 hour away.
So I'd hope I could find a suitable provider who will do outcall to National Harbor.  I have no recommendations because it's never been of interest to me.
Good luck.

Thanks a lot. This is just what I was looking for. Know what you mean about the Gaylord. They are designed so you really can't leave. There is no such thing as walking to something close by or being easy to get to and this applies to every city that has a Gaylord.

A lot of people get pissed off when they're told they're coming to DC, only to find the Gaylord is nowhere near DC.  Like other Gaylords, it's what I call a "hostage resort." They make sure it's too far to go anywhere else... So you have to spend your money there.  Sucks.

and the area has been developed enough to be interesting. Plenty of small shops...even a good gormet grocery store.  The area is a mixture of restaurants...trendy bars...shops...hotels...condo's and offices.  Even has a little nightlife going. In fact the Gaylord has a cool club on a top floor.  Guest receive VIP passes. Plus great views of the Potomac.....I don't think a quality Provider would have a prob or any resevations at hooking up with a gent there.   Enjoy.
