Only because it's a pet peeve of mine I post another thread on the same topic:

The inability and/or reluctance to advertise a rate/s is a clear indication of too many negatives that include:

- She's a "haggler" and service is a low priority.

- She uses the need to call for rates as a form of screening versus having the guts to simply make clear her preference in clients. Hence would suggest a rookie, game player, and service is a low priority.

- She is a rookie and/or hip-hop head (been watching too many rap vidieos about getting rich fast) and typically from the West coast (LA, LV, most CA cities).  And also suggest service is a low priority.

- She likes to waste time and even if you did end up having a session with her she would probably end up answering her phone a lot because she has to screen and/or tell what her rate is.  And also, service is a low priority.

- Just to name a few......  Oh, and service is a low priority.

I have seen numerous situations where a visitor (it's almost always a visitor) will begin a visit with a post on Eros but as the visit goes on posts will appear on Backpage and/or CL.  I assume this happens because the Eros post proves not to be as fruitful as she hoped for and she's now casting a wider net.  The Eros ad will have a rate but the Backpage and CL ads will not have a rate.  A call that references the Backpage/CL ad will get quoted a rate that is lower than that posted on the Eros ad.  I guess the assumption is that the Backpage/CL crowd is not going to shell out as much.  If the same number is used in all of the ads, you will be asked "where did you see my ad" before being told the corresponding rate.
I refer to this phenomenon as the Backpage/CL Differential. Savvy hobbyists know that sometimes you can find a gem at a discount by looking to see if she has ads on the cheaper sites.  I would not generalize by saying that the women who do this are uniformly game players, rookies, or providers for whom service is a low priority.  Often it's really just a matter of trying to generate traffic and not that much different from the "specials" that pop up in provider threads on this board on a regular basis.

Who knows the market in the places she visits.

Perhaps she knows she can get $500 in Vegas, $400 in NYC, and $300 in DC.

So instead of having to update her web page for each trip, she doesn't list it and tells you up front when call and tell her where you wish to meet her.  Or she posts it on the local boards prior to arrival.

I wouldn't automatically assume that service is a low priority.  I don't even see where you make that connection.

And I would think not listing a rate would cause FEWER calls, rather than more.

I was in the mindset that the provider in question was a higher scale companion.  That's usually where I see no price listed.

If you were talking about CL or BP listings, then I see exactly where you are coming from.

I avoid CL and BP anyway, which is why I didn't make that connection at first. And I assume service is a lower priority for most of the women found there, price listed or not.
