The National Arboretum recently opened back up! It's a beautiful (and free!) park which I think is criminally underrated. Lots of nicely designed areas that are great for photo ops as well.

You can never go wrong with the various monuments and museums. A few of the Smithsonians are opening up in the next week or two which could be worth a gander depending on your interests.  

As far as food goes, DC definitely has a lot to offer. Can't believe it's already been 4 years since the Michelin Guide added our city! There's plenty of fantastic non-Michelin starred restaurants to choose from though, and amazing places to suit any tastes.

Visit the newly developed areas on the waterfront - The Wharf and the Navy Yard area - lots of great new restaurants, scenic views, stores in both areas.
