I still don't get what these posts accomplish. The pic is always great, but what do I make of it?

Lamont's posts serve as a research tool to help hobbyists understand whether the Eros ads posted are from legitimate and/or reviewed providers. Eros has been known to have tons of fake ads on it. Often scammers will use borrowed photos to dupe hobbyists. Other times, there will be no reviews under a potential provider's ad, which in many ways can be constituted as a red flag as to whether it is by a legitimate provider or whether someone will need to TOFTT. IMO, Lamont's posts should be used as a "heads up" in your research so you are aware of any potential risks when seeing/contacting a provider listed on Eros. I find the posts to be an excellent resource and think they are a great service to the DC hobby community.
