I'm staying near the White House tomorrow. Any cool places to check out that are nearby? I definitely like to adventure, outdoors stuff, science stuff, interesting stores, pretty places, art, etc! Go!

Gallery, part of the Smithsonian's American Art Gallery.  And a bit farther away is the National Gallery of Art, arguably one of the top 4 in the USA.

Try the National Air and Space Museum on the Mall.  Lot's of science there: aircraft, spacecraft, helicopters, military and civilian, American and foreign.  You can even touch a moon rock (really!).
