I'd want to screen you within 2 weeks of appointment.

The reason why is because the guy may have done something after I screened him that would make me not want to see him

Real life example: guy I saw once, a year prior, wanted to see me again. I just went on my prior experience with him and i had previously screened prior. Turned out that after i had first seen him, he decided to do a whole mess of blackmailing for free sessions and if he didn't get, he wrote horrid reviews.

I have heard of guys passing screening far in advance,  to only do some messed up things after. It's rare, yes

Personally I'd feel better with recent screening plus maybe he won't get around to seeing me. I'd like to spend my time efficiently.

Just my view.

With FOSTA and SESTA looming, I started to notice on twitter that some ladies recommend potential clients be prescreened soon as the bill would affect their accessibility and/or make their screening process more rigorous should it come to pass. It started to make me think of all the ladies I have yet to meet and could potentially miss out on so I was wondering how long, generally speaking, is one's verification info good for before going through with the first date? I understand that most instances the date happens relatively soon after a gent has been verified but am curious if there have been instances were someone was prescreened months in advance?

I see your point. And depending on how intrusive your screening process is... just wonder how many don't want to deal with the over and over.
So, what's your model? Semi regular ( say once a month) exempt? Or at what rate of frequency do you require the gent to rescreen?

I'd say after 6 months of not seeing. I'd at least check out his recent reviews and if he made the blacklist.

Things like that rarely happen I think. My one bad experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. He even admits he does that, in his last 16 reviews details. Blackmailing for free time is, in my eyes, a form of rape or assault.

For my peace of mind, I'd like to screen within a few weeks. I may have to change that, depending on what the future holds for hobby screening sites etc.

You're exactly right in your view on that. It's is rape. Anytime a woman is coerced in to relations deemed against her will....its that damn simple. It takes a sick son of a bitch to want to be with a woman in a forced way.

Also, hey Alex. I feature you so much. You have so much knowledge and experience that when you speak up I always learn something.

What that person did is super fucked up. It makes me fume to year women getting taken advantage of like that. And you are right, it is akin to rape and robbery.

Thanks for your perspective Alexandra. You bring up some great points.

I require 2 references, whitelists, or okays within the last 90 days so I would only accept pre-screening within that time frame.

I would, and do, still perform a cross reference against blacklist information each time a person contacts me to make sure nothing foul has happened in the meantime.

And yes, everyone should be tightening up right now.

Thanks for the insight Priya! I must admit I would love to meet you so I'll be in touch soon before things get more complicated.

And start at least a light prescreening process.

Not sure what those two new laws are, so you'll have to update me on that, but as for prescreening, I usually require that I have to see you within 3 months. After that you have to get rescreened. Not only that, but if it's been over a year since I had seen you (and you weren't a regular who I used to see all the time *wink wink*) then I'd have to screen you again and make sure nothing had changed and you didn't do anything sneaky or underhanded during that time.
