I'm very new to hobbling, I admit that straight up. I also only get to DC three or four
Times a year. I was there in late fall and had four apt. In a couple days. I did reviews
On each appointment. Before I made my selection, I looked at the reviews of who was available.
It was of great help knowing which girl fit my needs. My question is, why do so many
Guys not write reviews? If a girl is in town for a week and sees say 5 dates a day, that
A lot of guys, and maybe only one or two will review! Seams like more should help the ready of us out.

No one is under any obligation here to write reviews.  Now here is a question for you.  I seem to remember you shilling for Teal more than once.  Where is your review of her?

Writing reviews can be a time consuming process with no guarantee of getting accepted. It usually takes an hour of writing to complete just one review, if you take the time to write clearly and proofread your work.

I guess you are correct on your question, my answer is I saw her in Arizona, before I even know about ter or reviewing.

We ask the gentlemen to do reviews but many don't want to. That is their choice. I only have about 3 reviews on here and have seen quite a few men since coming to DC. I do have my share of regulars though so they don't post reviews.

They will post them to my website as I guess they feel safer putting them there but they don't want to post them on sites like this one. I do agree with you it is a helpful tool for you gentlemen.

Also you have to take into consideration that some of us try to stay under the radar a bit so alot of reviews aren't wanted.

A very small percentage of all the people who read posts on this board write posts themselves, and a very small percentage of people who read reviews write reviews themselves.  I've often resented this fact, but then I read reviews before purchasing my last car and last three cellphones, but I've never submitted a review of my car or cellphones.  I often read reviews of beers, even while staring at tap handles at the bar, but I've never written a beer review.

*shrugs*

Moreover, I can only speculate what percentage of hobbyists even use TER.  My friends who introduced me to the hobby told me about Eros.  I somehow stumbled onto TER and asked them each about it.  One told me he had a friend who was a major personality on here and had discussed TER with him but had never used it himself.  The other thought the very idea of reviewing girls was silly and did not feel comfortable using TER at all.  He also did not expect girls to offer GFE services and took bait-n-switch, one-hour-means-one pop, etc. for granted.

My point is that you are mistaken if you assume that TER membership defines the hobbying community, and we just have to accept that within TER membership those of us who write reviews comprise the minority.

I'd say quite a few ppl, myself included,  just dont want to share the play by play details.  When I read a review, I care about what is on their menu, is their face pretty, do the pics match the reality, and that's about it.  I don't care about the reviewers 20" schlong and how they DATY for 8 hours and made her cum 400 times.  I just look for those 3 things I listed.  So that being said, since I don't particularly care to read it, I certainly don't care to type out my own.

Also, two other responses to this brought up good points that I'd  agree with

1)  I use an ipad for hobbying.  I'm posting this from it.  I do have a keyboard for it but it is still tough to type out anything of length on it.

2) The person that mentioned they have never reviewed a car, or a phone, or a beer, yet has read reviews on each is spot on, I 100% agree.

As I mentioned in the subject line, I have since changed my stance recently on this and have begun to submit reviews.  My  change in policy is not really of relevance, so I won't go into it.  Suffice it to say that I can understand why others don't review as much as you think they would.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

The reason to write reviews is because it helps your fellow hobbyists and it really helps the providers. If you've benefited from these reviews, it's the decent thing to do, when you have the time.
