Let us just revel in her........well IN HER! lol

Beautiful as always megan....call me!

This past Monday, the week started out as hot as the last.  But that afternoon, a thunderstorm came through with the crack of lighting, roaring thunder and fierce winds.  Just looking outside at the downpour was refreshing after the boiling heat.

It made me think of a story from a long time ago.  Once upon a time there was a lady who had two sons.  Her first son sold umbrellas, and her second son sold straw sandals.  Whenever it was raining, she would worry because her second son had no business that day.  And when the sun was shining, she would worry for her first son and his umbrella business.

These days there are many books that are written with a positive and uplifting theme.  I think if that lady from long ago were to read one of these books, she would see things in a different light.  She would be happy when it rains for her first son and his business, and she would be happy for her second son when the sunlight peaked through the clouds.

I hope this week will be filled with this kind of positive energy! :D
Megan ^^

Great lesson in that parable Megan. It reminded me of one I read many years ago:

A farmer in a small village purchased a group of horses that soon escaped from his farm. The villagers said "That is bad." The farmer replied "Who is to say what is good and what is bad?"

The horses returned to the farm with a flock of more wild horses. The villagers said "That is good." The farmer replied "Who is to say what is good and what is bad?"

The farmer's son tried to ride one of the horses and fell and broke his arm. The villagers said "That is bad." The farmer replied "Who is to say what is good and what is bad?"

War breaks out in the country and the military shows up at the farmer's door to conscript his son. They can't take the farmer's son because of his broken arm. The villager's said "That is good."

Need I tell you the farmer's reply?
