New York is a different crowd with big budget tastes.  DC is full of government wonks and civil servants trying to get by.

I think TrulyMsMocha's question is key, but if the answer is clients I don't think the price is outrageous (although out of my range) but unless I missed it I didn't see anything on the add board from you either. Unless you mean actual out of the industry friends then I don't know. Maybe get out more? I'm not from here for very long either and only have friends from work or come to visit from other places though so maybe I'm not the best for that advice.

Being new to the Washington DC area myself, I am still not feeling it around here, I am way out near Winchester and Business is very different than Philadelphia, big difference than city living out in the country I need some normal clients that show up for thier sessions and dont try neg a deal, that seems to be the norm around here, sonething I wont ever get used to, If anyone looking for Mature here I am..
