This is not exactly a structured business. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out. I’ve had a few cancel at the last minute (one this week) but no ncns this year (I chalk it up to luck). Actually, there have been a few that it would have been better for me if they had ncns! Like the backup this week, but that’s another story. The review is on the way.
On the other hand I’ve had to reschedule a couple of times because of schedule changes or delays. Fortunately for me the ladies have been very accommodating and we worked it out.
Either way, it certainly isn’t worth getting upset about or tracking. Just enjoy the good times and move on.
Just my .02. Be safe

In each case I had a back plan. The other providers made $1150 and got 6 hours of my time.

One provider admitted to me yesterday that she double books. She claims that the guys don't always show up.

1. 11:30 am on a Monday. Provider was from the west coast. I saw her come from a eating place at the time of my appointment. Glad that I did not see her, she was fat compared to her pictures.

2. 6:00 am on a Wednesday. I had seen the provider before and she was begging to see me. She calls me up at 8:00 am telling me her phone charger when. I get the truth and found out that she went to sleep at 4:00 am. I told her not to be 24/7. She learned from the mistake and is a much better provider now.

3. 10:30 pm on a Monday. I called and get a voicemail telling me to please be nice, lol. She never called back to tell what happened. Provider from NJ/NYC area.

4. 9:30 am on a Sunday. Provider called 5 minutes after a I booked with her to make sure I was coming to the appointment. Sign of a double book. I know the guy she booked with lol.

In each case I called when I got the incall location and waited 1/2 hour.

Unfortunately, they must not be aware that some of us have tight back-channel testicles that we sometimes know exactly who they double booked with.

Heck sometimes we know their exact schedule on a particular day. lol

Such intrigue. Fascinating. Can't wait to read more of the drama.

I has been really bad in 2011. Normally I only get 1 nocall noshow a year. The worst area is BWI. I have noticed the top offenders are the ones who offer 1/2 hour appointments/specials and have many posts. My fellow ncns research associates will be doing some field tests to find the offenders to build a database to be put on the web someday.

I get about 2 no shows a week (out of maybe 6 - 8 total bookings - so about 30 - 40%). Almost all who have either references, reviews or both. And let's not start on the last minute cancellations. (Work, Family, Dog, etc.)

Yet, I refuse to double book on the off chance it might not work out and I have two guys at my door.

You are doing pretty good dude.

Many girls double book (especially traveling ones) in order to ensure they make their quota $$$$

So if the practice has become common place, speak your brothers in arms, who also double book, cancel 10 minutes late, don't call to confirm and simply do not show up without a phone call.

Neither side is innocent, so do not put it all on the ladies.

I've had some "schedule confusion" in my day so I have a whole set of checks in place so a gentleman and I know what, when, where, etc.

As a matter of fact, last time I was running late because I was waiting on a taxi (in middle of Suburbia Illinois), I spent the entire time waiting on the phone with the gentleman chatting. I am sure he felt better knowing I wasn't busy doing something else, rather I really was waiting on a taxi. But that's how I roll. Not sure what other people do.

I will admit, those who like to book over the phone sometimes miss the little details because I am not always in a place I can talk freely when they can talk freely. Another reason why EMAIL IS THE BEST FORM OF COMMUNICATION. You can read it over and over, at your convenience and even have it later to double check.

Maybe as a community, we should set some "booking standards." Simple rules/regulations of engagement that make mishaps and such less frequent. But I'm just a geeky girl who believes in the scientific method, logic and order...Don't mind me. :-)

Vanica

Due to the fact that I don't have as many encounters as you do in a week/month. I think the more encounters that are scheduled the higher the probability of NCNS.

I think some of the guys who cancelled on you double booked or decided to see another provider that they found out about the last minute. It is a shame that they don't honor commitments. It is best not to look at ads when you have an appointment all ready booked lest you be tempted to cancel on the one you booked with.

Thanks for sharing the data and ideas on how to better fix the problem in the prevention of NCNS.
