I've got this message as well. I am not a computer geek by any means but the message seems to indicate there may be malware in ads etc? I've heard of this. Eros also has pop unders from time to time. Got to be careful.
..you could forget its down there and leave it open for prying eye
This is a massive issue, especially considering how much money I have placed on the site currently, oy vey!
I have a personal account rep over at Eros, and so I sent them a text asking about it.
response:
"We identified a banner that was causing the issue. Removed banner, and waiting on Google to re-scan our network. Should be resolved soon. Please help spread the word if you can".
is that EROS also takes ad money from fakes, scams and bait and switch. This leads us to either ignore eros altogether or highly question the ads. I use TER, DC , p411. I also us the new improved LamontCranstonEROS site here on TER)
This blatant acceptance of scammer ads leads to your ads getting less views because we can't trust what we see. Thank you to Lamont Cranston who in this activity is like a HEPA filter taking out all the bad stuff and leaving us with drinkable water.
Ladies you should press EROS to remove the scammers and fakes. They depend on YOUR money and if you choose to take your ad dollars elsewhere it might make a dent.
Indian Brea: Complete scam artist has been on EROS for over 3 years which means EROS has gladly accepted her or her groups money to troll there and scam people. WTF
Your statement is really rather ridiculous. Most of us who use TER in conjunction with Eros have not stopped viewing Eros and choosing to see women from Eros one bit. With the tools available to us,TER Google Image search and tineye there is no reason for us to be taken in by fakes You don't think any of these sites are free of fakes? Think again.I admit I liked it years ago when Eros had verified providers but for whatever reason they stopped doing that maybe liability but who knows?
Just because there are fakes on Eros doesn't mean you should stop using it there are fakes everywhere even here on TER
Just a thoug
What statement did I make that was ridiculous? I didn't say I don't see women who advertise on EROS. I just don't tend to look for them there. Cara St James advertises on there and I would see her in a NY minute.
You enjoy looking up thru tineye, google search to find out someone is a fake?
Why can't EROS do that? They take the ad money...
Sure there are fakes but when a site has 50% fakes it is pretty damn bad.
Also when they do not screen a banner ad that is now being flagged as malware, that is pretty damn bad.
And no I don't think it is the only one with fakes. However, with DC and p411 you can be pretty certain they aren't.
With TER, it seems to me it is trying to help us. With EROS, they are only in it for themselves...
Lets see that %50 of the ads on Eros are fake is ridiculous to begin with.Out of nearly 200 girls on Eros right now you believe that almost 100 are fake? Eros aint backpage dude. The fact you dont look for them there is also ridiculous you are going to find as many girls there as on any other ad site. P411 and DC are not ad sites they are verification sites that YOU pay to be on so yes they tend to have far fewer fakes because they arent getting their money from advertising girls (unless she pays for a banner or prime placement) they are making their money of US so it makes sense for them to want to have real providers associated with their site.
Do I fnd it fun to search through google image or tineye? I dont use tineye anymore just google image and it takes 2 seconds just like searching with the TER add on on firefox I don't mind it takes no time and lets me know I can think about seeing a girl with confidence. I am sorry you are so soured against Eros but it is still one of the best sites in the area to find quality girls.Any website can become a victim of malware/trojans they will fix it and then it will be a good site to check out the girls again.
And guess what? All these sites TER included are in it for the money as are the girls if you think any of them care about you more then your money then you are nuts lo
I was told there would be no math...
Ok, maybe not 50% but enough to be annoying. If you ad up the scammers, bate and switch, unreviewed ads, some chick with just a phone number, it is a high percentage. Others seem to think it is high too. Yes I paid a lifetime fee (89) for datecheck and an annual fee for p411 and VIP TER, but I have made back ALL the money and then some from provider discounts to members (25-100 for mult hr)
Yes it is a verification site but it also is useful as an ad because I can see who is available on a particular day without the detritus of eros.
Eros aint BP as you explained, but it aint great.
Oh, don't twist my words. They don't care about me over money... its just appears their mission is more customer oreinted than eros.
.

and now I'm very worried! Refunds, please!
It makes me concerned about the Malware issue from the 3rd party banner on site today...
because I'll be in DC in couple days and my ads are being ignored.
That is what this thread is about though, not about Eros being a ripoff.
While we are here though; I strongly disagree that 50% of all ads are fakes. That's a lot. that's a few hundred fakes per city!
DC by far has the most phonies I have ever seen in the Eros listings...and I am not sure how they continue to get up there...
Does anyone ever contact Eros about this
....for Philly eros (where I am right now) to not be really big/saturated compared to DC/NY/Vegas and so on (where it's like 200 and up usually) i've spotted a good amount. I'd say like 1 in 4.
This is indeed an issue, at least in my case. Yesterday I could see all the ads without any problems, although some Java was trying to run. Today I cannot click on any individual ad, so I cannot see anyone's information beyond the summary screens. It does not seem to matter where on eros.com I look - the section is irrelevant and the market is irrelevant as far as I can see.
This has taken the problem from annoying to downright impossible, particularly for clients but especially for providers. While some of what I am seeing may be local to me, I suspect this is a bigger problem. I am highly supicious that the one banner mentioned above is the entire cause of the problem. My sense about this one, which is rarely wrong, is that there are deeper issues on that site.
I've been looking at locations all morning. From the Midwest to the east coast. Using my iPhone.
......there are a few phone browsers still, IE and firefox you can view just fine without warning...just finding this out from a rep. They are trying to resolve this before/by start of next wk. *sighs*.
.......if this can be posted here ladies can send grievances/issues to [email protected] or [email protected]
