I am sorry this has happened to you in regards to ladies you are interested in.  

I don't believe that eros takes measures to address the contact information in the authentication process. Authentication is something that they do strictly to address the issue of fake photos being used that are a misrepresentation of the person you are seeing.  

Perhaps these ladies are not aware that there is a typo in their phone number? I'm sorry I can't think of anything else. Of course LE is always a possibility.  

The requirements for Eros authentication are that you do one of the following (copied and pasted)

Provide the Eros Guide with a valid government issued ID (front and back) as well as an authentication photo for us to be able to compare the photo on the ID and authentication photo with the photos on your advertisement. An authentication photo usually consists of a photograph of the advertiser holding up a sign with the current date listed or a newspaper headline with a clearly recognizable date displayed.

Come and meet with the Eros Guide at one of the many industry related events we attend each year. Upon meeting with us, one of our employees can take a photo of you that can be used to compare with the photos submitted to us for your advertisements.

Hopefully this provides some clarity. Eros authentication means nothing more and nothing less than the above.
