Without the ad board, how will I let people know I'm sitting in my hotel room in DC?
I guess banner exchanges with my girlfriends will be more important to connect people, but how do we alert when visiting? Ugg! I am all against sex trafficking, but we are not being forced and are not enslaved.
You got halfway there with this post. Nothing illegal about posting when you'll be in town, asking questions about nearby restaurants and such. Here's an example:
Hey everyone, just got to town today for a 3 day weekend. I'm staying right by Georgetown Cupcake wondering if it's worth while waiting in that line. PM me if you have any other ideas about how I should spend my time here, thanks!
I'm starting a Twitter page...Made a couple of suggestions/requests to TER but no response nor change. I'm really not understanding the difference between posting a review with a location and score, showing you have met a lady in order to rate her and a Tour Board with only a date under a state category. Hash tag posts on Twitter will be helpful going forward. Some ideas to follow.

I understand your aggravation. If I were in your situation, I'd be inclined to voice my frustration here whenever I were in town but unable to post an ad....
If not, we will all figure something out. It may take time and some trial-and-error. I think personal referrals may become a lot more important. At least that way notice can be combined with screening to some degree.
I think if you figure it out there are plenty more of us wondering the same thing! It’s definitely a head scratcher considering TER had such a big presence in the DMV area. Hopefully it’s just a matter of TER figuring out how to comply with the new regulations, as opposed to permanently going dark. -K
While you can’t post ads since those boards that allowed you a once a week post, as long as you post in discussions you’re good to go, no rule to say replies can’t have links to websites or profiles, see it all the time.
Very true, and I agree with all of this. Get creative, there are still ways to be seen and get noticed here. All of these changes are new, but I sense that the action will turn to the regional discussion board very quickly. There were thousands of views on the ad boards, people will be poking around in other places soon.
And never let your feelings get hurt if someone piggybacks your post. Isn't that how ladies work on Twitter to get noticed. Now it will be one big long post with plenty of good places to eat. I have always heard the best way to get a man's attention is through his stomach ... Well, this doesn't exactly fit but it's close. I can see the action moving to the local boards soon.
Great way to share clips of the city a provider might be touring, and the personal clips are supposed to "vanish" after they are viewed. Plenty of models make good $ on there in addition to the hobby.
