After dipping my toes into this hobby with a fun PV visit, I'm looking to take the plunge with the full experience.
I completely understand the need for providers to do screening for their comfort and safety. But because I'm new to this, unfortunately I don't have provider references -- even the provider I saw for the PV a while back is no longer there. I'm also very reluctant about any screening that involves my employer, which I'm guessing is not unique to my circumstances.
I tried reaching out directly by email to a provider who caught my attention on these boards, but I never heard back -- which again, I totally understand under the circumstances. I'm curious if there are any suggestions for providers in the DC area who may be more willing to take a chance on a newbie or open to alternative screening of some sort. Thanks
, you have plenty to choose from. But you haven't volunteered what you are willing to give as screening so that makes me (and I'm sure others) a bit leary.
Why not offer up what you are comfortable giving that way those who are comfortable with that can contact you? ID, landline number, nothing at all? Are you looking for someone who goes by intuition alone and feels you out via a phone call? They exist, but most are not going to broadcast that. Good luck finding something that works for you, though you are probably narrowing your field significantly. xo
