Some agencies do/don't accept refs from other agencies, or even for indipendent providers.

Some agencies will/won't give refs.

Some indies will/won't accept refs from agencies, or will be selective which ones they accept from.

Some providers are selective about which othet providers they'll take refs from

It's all about what they are safe accepting or not.  And some agencies have different views about cooperating with "the competition"

I'm somewhat new to this hobby so excuse me if this is a dumb question.  Why won't agencies accept referrals from other agencies?  Now I'll have to focus on seeing at lease two independents who have lenient screening requirements.

There are several reasons I dont accept references from a few agencies
1. I know they dont screen and they've had multiple girls busted
2. They are big bullies and god forbid you "steal their clients"
3. They harass clients and other agencies
4. They cant be trusted

Not only do I not accept references but I wont work with girls who have previously worked for certain agencies thanks to a lame agency owner who sent a girl to meet me just to see who I was and get info

Thanks for the insight.  It appears that I'll need to see multiple, well established independents and agency girls to cover my reference requirements.
