..are with Agency. I've been doing this for a while now, it has been my observation that 18-24 yr old tend to be rather disorganized compared to the 30-40 yr old. Getting hold of them can be a nightmare. If given a choice between hobbying with 18-24 yr old indie vs 30-40 yr old indie, I would rather choose the latter. With my work schedule, I need some sort of assurance that the appointment will actually take place, and I am not wasting my time..
Now, that scumbag agencies in DC have left, its time for someone to start a new agency to fill the vacuum.
And I believe he has a good point. Typically, agencies that are run by males seem to catch a lot of flack from the gentlemen on these boards. The 18-24 year olds that work for agencies are generally irresponsible and whenever the male that runs the agency tries to motivate them to get it together, they get blasted and labeled as "scumbags" and "dirtbags". Those same people who are labeling those owners are the first people to complain when there aren't any agencies or quality ladies around. Its a vicious cycle.
..fire them. Tell them not to come back. But trying to threaten someone at a gunpoint, will land you in the slammer, as it rightly did. Agencies get bad rap because of this behavior. Just like anything else, there is a right and ethical way to do it, and there is a way to screw things up.
I agree that those who use violence should be locked away for good. I was referring to other agencies that were around in the past that always got a bad rap even when there was no evidence of violence.
P.S. Some agencies DO in fact fire their girls. But since the client sees the girl in person, they are more inclined to believe whatever story that girl may have created to give the agency a bad rep.
