Have you spoken to your doctor?  What does he or she have to say? It sounds like maybe you aren't ready yet physically. The will is there but I think perhaps you may need more time to heal and get the pipes in working order again. I have come to this conclusion since you said the wife and you have tried many times to no avail? Also you are a tad tender or sore or swollen you said? Rest some more and give it time.  Providers , yes though we are skilled, still I don't think will help you. Unless you are bored with the wife and need something new but it sounds like your body is not quite back to working order as of yet.  

  Give it some time and I assume things will fall back into place. I am NO expert though. Definitely seek the advice of a medical professional. Sorry you are dealing with some issues and Happy Thanksgiving!!

SS is spot on -- you're probably OK but we can't give you answers, you've got to see your cardio at the very least.  You probably know this, but he/she can give you reliable tests that measure your risk level, functions, and possible vulnerabilities, and whether or not you can withstand full activity, which as you know can be strenuous.  He can also prescribe meds which can speed your recovery, and from what you wrote you're not there yet.

Oh no baby!!!!

I'm so sorry you had a stroke!  If I were there I'd nurse you back to health.  Also,  PLEASE DO get a second opinion.  Once you've had one stroke it is really easy to have another.
