Just finished doing some research.
3 Providers were busted on 3/25/2010, 2 African American, 1 Caucasian. All 3 are from California. Looks like a CL/BP bust.

1 Provider busted on 3/8/2010 from Northern Virginia, she also got drug charges from the arrest.
Caucasian/Spanish.

1 Provider busted on 3/4/2010 from Maryland, Caucasian, she also got drug charges.

Data from a government website.

Back to research and more phone calls.

serve as nothing more than either "Look At Me" posts or are they for the purpose of creating anxiety here?

There is nothing of value to be learned from your posts without more information and documentation.

If you are for real and not just another attention seeker, and if you actually care about the hobby community and are not just trying to stir up some shit, provide links to your information sources.

In the case of this kind of post coming out from behind your alias would also be helpful. I can't see any reason you would not want to if you are legit.

We have had right wing religious types, and Le, both posting on the boards trying to damage the hobby community here in the past.

Assume you are one or the other unless you provide enough information to prove your credibility AND for the information to do some good.....

If you look below I have confirmation that my data is correct.

I am sure with your hobby back channel connections you probably know the site and the key words to search for.

As I posted before I don't post links that give out direct names. It is up to you to figure out what the site is. One of my posts I took out the names from a LE announcement that is on their website.

The LE crackdowns are unprecedented in terms of the number of arrests.

In addition to providers getting busted you now have reverse stings coming up left and right all over the place.

You have providers only doing outcall.

Local providers like I posted before are not posting their pictures like the use too. Did you notice how only visiting providers posted the pictures this week ?

In one of the counties mentioned you can use a website at the county libraries to print all the press release (from a certain city that is a "capital") articles for hobby arrests. You have to be in the library to use the website for free.

Call up your provider friends who have been around for a while. I am sure they give more details than I have.

You don't provide names... why do you care if it is a matter of public record anyway? Do us all a favor Hobbynews and disapear into the Ether unless you are willing to provide some substance to your inane commentary!

This kind of info is always problematic. We either trust our methods, or we need new/better ones. You can take hobbyNews info as you like, or not, but here is something to consider. Please note that I do not mean to shill for HN.

Maybe, just maybe, HN has some inside information, and cannot share the actual source.

I say this because in my case I share certain things around electronics, security, etc. I will NEVER get too detailed, and many times I will give none. I will only urge you to take heed. Not because I have no references, but because sharing too many details would be a bad thing.

Trust in a blind source is tough. So cast a jaundiced eye, but be aware too.

You can practice your amateur sleuthing all you want.  You may even be right some of the time----maybe even a high percentage of the time.  But until and unless you give people a way to verify all of these claims people are going to discount them.

It is up to you.  You can post in such a way that people are inclined to believe you or you can post in a way that makes them suspect.  Personally I think it makes more sense to post in a way that gives your posts credibility. But if you feel that you have to do otherwise then you had better learn to live with the skeptics because you made them skeptical.

True dat!  Good sources need not and SHOULD not be shared.   Deal with it.

He does not claim he is protecting a source.  He is saying that he got this from a public website (which by definition is not looking for secrecy or protection) but that he won't reveal it because it has real names listed.  That would make sense of he did not claim that we could find the site and see the names ourselves.

No question that if you get info in confidence you should respect that.  But info from a public website does not qualify.

Believe him if you wish but I think he has to expect skepticism under the circumstances.
