END OF MESSAGE

I have had recent instances with 2 ladies who were confused and sent me messages because they had so much traffic that I received the wrong messages from them.

First lady sent me a text message that indicated what her half hour rate was. This is after I had already confirmed with her my two hour session that same day.  She texted me back that she was responding to someone else and that it was an accident. There seemed to have been texts that were coming in hot and heavy with her.  I kept the appointment because I really wanted to see her and I had a great time.

Second lady sent me an email that said that I was no gentleman since I didn't keep an appointment with her and had not notified her.  I emailed her back that my session was for next week!!!  She sent me back an immediate email saying that she got so much email so she had gotten confused.  That appointment I cancelled since I found it unprofessional.

So is there really a recession or a bad economy?  These ladies seem to be busier than ever in the DC area. LMAO

Typically those of us in hobby have disposable income, so we are still hobbying.  You don't see the average joe working at Mcdonalds dropping $$$

These seem to be isolated incidents, and not reflection of entire economy.

my guess is that the ecomony is better in the DC area, thanks to expanding gov't and all who feed on her, than in most other areas of the country.  I'm also guessing that most hobbyists would sooner give up anything other than their pleasure!!!  Am I right?

Their email traffic does not necessarily reflect the state of the economy (i.e. traffic through the door). It would seem to me that they would be more active on various boards when business is slow. Also in busy times, I would not expect someone to be offering half-hour rates. That said the DC area may not be as bad as the midwest and other places.

This usually requires a fair amount of disposal income. I'm sure the ladies have seen a slight drop in the guys who have to pinch pennies to hobby every few months.

My impression, at least in DC which is also not representative, is that the economy is mostly hurting the lower half of the income strata, and they probably make a disproportionate portion of hobby business.

IMHO, the jobless rate has nothing, zip, zero, NOTHING to do with the overall economy. Why?  During WWII, when there were 15 jobs for anyone willing to work, the so-called jobless rate never went below 6% !!  Clearly, there is a segment of the population out there that just does not want to work and willing to live off us tax payers.  IMHO, there are a bunch of us that find seeing a provider is a much better deal than a wife!  And, find a lovely, willing and able, far beyond any available date...Flyrod

Even assuming that your numbers are all correct. The current unemployment is much higher than 6%.

Could be the time of year.

Early filers are probably getting their refund checks.

"found" money tends to go towards luxuries.

To be honest, I dont think the economy has nothing to do with this, if is a good provider then she's going to do great. sometimes people make mistake with emails, thats why I would recomend to have a booker who take care of it.

ps: Sorry for english :)
