why would you give them your email address in the first place? Or use a
seperate email address just for that purpose only.

Since CL shut down the Adult services section I've recieved (this is no joke) 27 e-mails from providers I have contacted in the past for service asking if I am interested in an appointment?

I doubt I'm the only one getting these but figured I'd ask anyway! Eblasts with all kinds of advterising is NOT ok in my book! Some even lack the aptitude to BCC everyone so each recipient gets the message so all our e-mail info is shared. Fortunately, I use a seperate e-mail from my personal account but from looking at the e-mail addy's on there many are dumb enough to use their work addresses.

Justy curious... I know there is not much one can do about it but it is annoying to say the least!

I do not advise responding to ANY of those emails.

I should never have used the services of those who advertise there but at least I know better than to respond to the e-mails.

i do wonder how it has affect some of the college girls that were on there looking for one of rendevous to cover tuition and what not... that was the lure for me!!!!

Yes, where did the sweet college girls go...?

golf... i did... and still use it for hobbying purposes.. but it'sannoyin to go through the ads... perhaps it's just time to abandon the address and setup another account.

Empty all folders, including "Sent", then empty trash.
If you need any of this info, copy it to another file, or put it in the clouds.

thanks... i keep it pretty clean with only pertinant info! But thanks for the advise!

It's ironic you should post about this. About a week ago, the subject came up in a Fantasys network meeting. We predicted that behavior such as this would occur after CL's fall.

In the realm of what is known and unknown within the range of human behavior in this given social group, something like this shouldn't come as a surprise. Consider the fact that we're talking about a social class with a set of operational belief systems where the path of least resistance or the lowest common denominator is the norm. Taking the time to understand escort industry marketing is more effort than they want to put forth. From this perspective, the only choice is to, in a sense, become beggars.

Let's be clear about a few concepts: I'm separating CL from the mental, spiritual, and personal habits from those who solely rely on it. CL as a marketing tool is just that; a tool, no more. Whether or not (or even how) one chooses to use it is another issue entirely.

I fear that this will start to be come the accepted norm which, in my (and Fantasy's) view, is completely unacceptable. If you wanted to be e-mailed marketing newsletters, then you would have signed up to them (assuming the providers had one). Otherwise, the traditional accepted etiquette is that clients contact providers first when they are seeking service, not the other way around.

We have accepted rules of engagement for a reason and as an agency owner, I'm siding with clients on this one. This kind of behavior should NOT be rewarded in any way, shape, or form.

Sincerely and seriously annoyed at the whole concept,

That's just a no-no...I'm not calling or texting or emailing appts.... I mean is it not better if it's by a guy's choice and he contacts you....i'm not great @ sugarcoating my words so yeah that's just lame lame lame.
