Hate to say it bigdaddy, but 1.5K is about the going rate for high flying porn stars, these days.  Hell, I'd take a few minutes just to WATCH.  Glad you didn't ask ME for a donation, though.  Sheesh, after two yesterday and two more earlier this week and an overnight last week, I am like BUSTED (both physically AND financially).  I gotta' cut this shit OUT!

In my opinion it seems a bit rude to make a negative comment about what a lady charges unless you have met her yourself and can honestly state in a review that your experience was not a good one.

If you can't afford or even if you don't want to pay someone's rate it's less then gracious to start a thread like this.

Sure she should read these post I will not speak for the guys on this board. So a simple qustion to her from me. I could see a fine local lady every night for a 5 nights for what she charges. What in the world makes it worth it for me to see her?

Meg, a very dear provider friend of mine once said that she would NEVER question ANY provider's rates.  Whether a gal feels she is worth more and wants it, or just wants to be very reasonable and nicely accomodate a lot of guys' budgets, it is HER business.  As far as the former, the marketplace will always adjust things for you if they are somewhat out of whack.

 Several of us on here know a very nice gal who provides a top flight GFE experience, but whose rates are VERY inexpensive.  She became pressured about it by other providers, including bogus reviews.  She has so many loyal and  devoted hobbyists that ultimately she decided to delist herself from TER.  Many of my comrades know who she is.  

 In both instances, this just goes to show how poor general criticism of rates can be.  One reason I don't see porn stars is because I cannot afford what most charge (and do other things that I want to do more).  That doesn't mean that there isn't a market for them, or that they are not necessarily worth the price.  As you say, if one has not personally experienced the lady, they have no real basis to speak with any authority.  Even then, their opinion is subjective.  As we know, there are many guys who very much want to see pornstars (whether for the experience, the bragging rights, or both).

 I suspect what you are observing is just typical whining spawned by human nature.  I must admit to being guilty of it myself, on occasion. As I was told a long time ago: The world's resources are limited (more to most than some others), but human wants and greed are virtually unlimited.  One thing for sure; there is no economic equality and there probably never will be in this human race.  Whether we individually accept that or whine about it won't make any difference except to the person who chooses which to do.

 Bottom line: If one resents what providers make, then they need to give up hobbying.  Just that simple.

Pat, perhaps NOTHING could make it worth it for you to see her.  The same thing could be said for me.  That doesn't mean that there aren't some guys who desire (and can afford to) see porn stars at this kind of rate (for the reasons I speculated elsewhere in this thread).  Life is about choices.  You and I don't choose to.  Many others here apparently do not either.  However, Lacy is there for those who DO.  That's why they call it a free country.  It doesn't mean free from expenses; it means free to CHOOSE.  For many who are not as fortunate as us, their choices are even more limited.

Yes, but I do hope she understands and doesn't take it as serious as you. She of course had no need for us clowns on who have spoken here. I applaud her for the rates she charges. There are many out there who appreciate higher cost just because they know guys like us won't spoil or ruin the goods...

I haven't finished reading the other posts here, but I would say that most would die for her just on face value.

It wasn't intended to be offensive, and I'm surprised that our humor is. So while the board allows you to post your feeling and opinion, we that you and all who speak there piece...

If it offend you or others to read what is being said on the boards, I suggest stop reading it, simple isn’t it… No one forces you or anyone else for that matter to read the bullsh*t we write, let alone expect anyone to take it serious in most cases.

Clearly you have a different perspective on this post and subsequent threads. That is all healthy. I would bet however, that Lacey is rather flattered by the comments. There has been nothing said here that was in bad taste. She did not post and ad here, BigDaddy did it in good humor, although I myself will not contribute to his hobby of visiting expensive porn stars. LOL

I really think that the whole board was created to allow clients to shop. That's right shop the goods out there available. The ladies are allowed on as well, to provide insite from the other side. But the bottom line is prices and hot pictures are open season for hobbyists.

I personally do not do porn stars, for money and other reasons. Especially, since I have had my share of great PSE's and GFE's, without searching for porn stars. If money were no object (and to some it is not), and/or BD would loan me 1.5K, I would be on the phone as we speak and beat everyone to it.

at least I know I would be having a happy meal. And, provide one in return, while I am at it.

for ladies to justify their rates by somehow implying that they are better than the next woman?  Rates are a personal decision, not based on who is better, but based upon what that particular SP decides she would be comfortable with.

At times my rates are higher than some other ladies, or the same or lower, this doesn't mean that I am better than, equal to or lesser than a girl who charges another rate!  If we are your "type" of gal, if we offer the services you enjoy, if we give you what you need during a session, all that is important afterwards is whether or not you wil accept the rate, period.  

Obviously, this is the rate she is comfortable with, and it is worth it because what you want is a lady who IS comfortable.

If Lacey were here and posted, or if they have seen the lady and thought it was stellar but not worth a particular sticker price.  I know this because in both instances, the guys have posted the same types of posts and made requests for a lower rate or discount.

Agree or not with their approach and opinions, they're consistent and honest about their feelings regarding rates.  The kidding in this thread is about as light-hearted and teasing as it gets.  It's a boy's club, like the rest of TER, but generally a good-natured one.  Visiting here on a pretty regular basis, I've never gotten the feeling here that the men disrespected the ladies.

To see the difference, compare this to the tone on LA or TC board where guys rip apart providers, accuse them of fake reviews to drum up business and constantly call for boycotting and lowering review scores for more expensive ladies.  It truly takes misogyny to an ugly new height.

Myself personally, I never talk about rates.  I vote with my wallet and that's the end of the matter.

I have never haggle about a lady rate.. I was actually trying to make light of the lady because she was beautiful. Sorry if I offend anyone..

Knows how people are here, at least in posts.  Now I can't speak for how you guys are in real life, at least not the way providers see you, for obvious reasons!  Before you say, yes I can technically in a purely physical sense, I should warn you I'd be a no-show for sure.  

I mentioned in my last post that TER's like a boy's club.  Marilyn's diary could be seen as a girl's club.  People vent, joke and say things as part of that group, and sometimes it's not going to be 100% PC.  I think that's pretty healthy and normal as long as it's kept pretty civil, keeping in mind that people you're talking about will read the posts.  

In which case, there's two ways to look at it:  One, be insulted and expect the group to be on their best behavior like they would with a mixed crowd or Two, keep in perspective that this is a group bonding over shared activities, frustrations and enjoyment.  I prefer two myself because it's a way to learn how people different from me think and feel.  You can gain a new perspective and insight if you're open-minded and have a bit of a thick skin.    The same is true with Marilyn's diary as TER boards.  It's the ladies space to vent and so on.  

That said, I wish people wouldn't allow anonymity on the internet be an excuse to be rude and vicious in a way they wouldn't be if they met Joe or Jane on the street instead of through a website.  They're still the same people behind the keyboard with feelings that aren't any less mitigated because of a computer screen.  

I've yet to see rudeness/viciousness produce anything worthwhile.  Just a pointless circle of negativity.  But use some manners to get the grease going...and lookee there, meaningful dialogue.  Alot of us get that and we should try to stick to that principle.  The rest hopefully will realize at some point that antagonism produces alot of b.s. and problems in the long-term that far exceeds whatever moment of satisfaction they get in penning some vitriole.

Hate to say it jeop, but oftentimes it looks to me like the "vote count" over there is rigged.  Contrary posts seem to quickly go MIA and/or be attacked from multiple fronts.
