I keep all my pc password protected, use high encryption on my drives, have it go into auto-lock when the screen saver kicks in, even have a bios lock, hobby phone, hobby credit card, etc. But what's the use for all that high-tech shit when you're passed out drunk, sleeping in the chair in front of the computer. Unfortunately, while I was passed out, the screen-saver failed to kick in.

When I woke up, I saw the girl friend standing next to me with a shocked look in her eyes, and asking "Who's this girl and what's The Erotic Review. What are you up to?" She has now figured out it's a review site for escorts. Ouch!

Lesson: Don't pass out drunk infront of your computer when you're surfing TER behind your SO!

Paraphrased:

"Men hide their porn well.  We have secret compartments, like the door to the Bat Cave.  But where do the women find it?  In the damn VCR!"

One day on my dresser she saw a fancy business card holder she had given me.  She said "hey, I gave this to you, do you like it?   I want to see your cards in it."   She was about to open it, when I remembered the top card in there was from a provider.  I can't say whose it was or what it said (to protect the innocent), but there was no talking around what kind of card it was or why I had it...it would have been all over.

I grabbed the holder, slipped out the card behind my back and gave it back to her.  She asked why I did that, and I said I wanted to take out my clients' cards so you can just see mine in there.  She bought it, but thought I was acting weird.

P.S.  If I recall correctly, I eventually left the card in the mens room of an upscale office building.  I left it on a bag shelf in front of a urinal...in clear view.  Kind of paying it forward, if you will.

paying it forward. ha ha

I tried to picture that act you pulled.

My gf would've been like "WTF are you hiding", if I tried doing the same stunt. lol

When in the military. I've seen/heard of hundreds of drunk guys get arrested when they hit on LE.  Drinking and hobbying does not mix....period

... judging by the number of posts that appear to be plain and simple "drunk posting". lmao

Believe it or not...Today, in the meeting, I was thinking about what percentage of people who hobby, are single, married, and have girlfriends. I thought it would an interesting research exercise.

I personally never had any girlfriend or ever been married, and out of all the sex I've had, only 2 of them were non-providers.  So, I was wondering who is easy to "hide" hobbying from? Girlfriend? or Wife?

Keeping it from either one is tough... But keeping it from both is damn near impossible!

Having been married twice and several girlfriend while hobbying.  A wife have more access to snoop.  For an example, password protection on computer, thats a automatic red flag from wife.  A gf won't be a pushy because she eventually wants that wife stsus if not, she basically doin what you are doing

I would have thought that GFs are more possessive of their BFs. Once guys people get married, usually the women and men,  both, let their guards down. All my buddies are married, and when they were dating, they used to be stuck on phone for hours. Now, the conversations are very short and to the point.

BUt I have to ask, why can't women just mind their own business?

Why snoop around other people's computer and shit.

LOL

.... just fuck-and-go. Don't get so involved with the providers and the message boards. Sooner or later you'll get exposed.

So you are suggesting that hobbyists who are married/dating, shouldn't post on BOARDS and write REVIEWS? One time a very well reputed provider told me that about 60-70% of her clients are married. If hobbyists were not to write reviews, then the  number of reviews written would go down drastically.

There has to be a safe way to do it.

Same thing happened to me once except it was my mom who saw the content on my computer.  I had some CL and BP pages on the monitor screen. It was very awkward. I just said they were random pop-ups porn sites I had absolutely no idea of and they just pop up on my screen while I was surfing the web.  I found that a very reasonable and believable excuse and it worked.

All us single guys don't have this problem. To be sure, we don't get laid as often as guys in relationships--but you can't have everything. I have a married friend who hobbies frequently and always has to come up with a good excuse/reason for his absence.

With the Internet, the TER, and hot providers out there, a relationship keeps looking less desirable every year.

A good excuse I use to get out of trouble was i told my GF its just basically erotic short stories that I like to get off on...Hopefully the OP login was inactive so he had to log back in and if the GF wants u to log in, just keep putting the wrong password acting dumbfounded until TER has to reactivate it the next day or whatever it is...That gives u time to delete all emails and/or possibly suspending the acct for a while.
