So, I got a PM today from a traveling lady, reminding me of our 3PM appointment. Funny that, I didn't make one for today. Especially not in Tyson's Corner!

The lady in question provided my with the email address the perpetrator used, and it is a ripoff of my handle at gmail.com (my handle plus a couple digits). And the name he gave didn't match either.

I've always liked the whitelist feature, but now I'm beginning to worry, since slime like this guy are impersonating people, and could mess with my reputation!

The lady in question is blacklisting the d-bag, using the email address he made up, an the name he gave. Thankfully, she is also placing a comment that will help other ladies from thinking that is me (I hope).

When I screen I always search reviews by reviewer using the potential clients email address and if the user name he supplied dosent match the email address I ask him to send me a PM from his account. If he's lying he wont email me back and I've avoided a jerk. I always follow up by letting the real TER guy know his handle is being used. It happens more than you think. Sorry that happened to you.

No, I can NOT find out your alias. Yes I can find out your handle if I have the email address associated with your TER handle.  
I dont use it to enhance reviews. I like to know if a guy is on TER just because to be honest there are some guys on this board I have no desire to meet based on how they treat people here. Then there are a lot of guys I think seem super nice that Im excited to meet.  
If I see that a potential client has a gazillion reviews that dosent change the way I treat him. Im the same provider with or with out TER.

Reason number 76549204 why we ladies sometimes seem a little over the top when it comes to verifying you. It's not because we want all this info on you to mess with you at a later date, it's just to make sure that you are, in fact, you. You would be amazed how often people try to get to us by doing something shady like this, or worse. Welcome if even for a split second to the daily "WTF??" Of being a professional companion, lol!

It's not "fair", we know. You aren't actually the one doing anything wrong. But if we aren't careful, then people like this guy can ruin it even more for all of us.  

So... Did you go ahead and meet her at 3? ;-p

exactly what I do when using TER as additional source for references.  I look them up by email and ALWAYS have them send a PM or IM from their account.  Some times guys will say "I sent it....you didn't get it?"  Knowing they didn't.  It does happen more than one would think.

I'm assuming your hosting service or somebody is charging to view your gallery.

Remember that the main function of TER are reviews on the ladies. And is not a tool to verify you. I use TER exclusively for research and to browse the ad board, but nearly all of my communications and bookings are done through P41
