Question if a Provider has on her Screening form on her website  what Ethnicity you are does that mean she does not want to see a certain race?

Yes for some, for others maybe it’s just one of the things they somehow use in for ID screening though I have no idea how it would be used.

I am a fellow lady and I am curious how they use it to screen. I have always wondered. Perhaps some think that a certain ethnicity all act a certain way (aggressive). Or maybe they think a certain ethnicity will have a larger package, or be into a natural smell and not wear deodorant. Over the years I have come to find out that every ethnicity has people of all different types. I have had gentlemen reach out and tell me their ethnicity and say "are you okay with that?". I was never bothered by it and never really felt the need to ask. But I guess when it comes down to it the ladies have their reasons but like I said before I am curious. :)

I have asked that question several times to ladies that have required ethnicity. These are the answers I have been told as I hobbied around the world. One lady had been raped as a teenager, and would not see anyone from that race as it brought up bad memories and trust issues. An Asian lady would not see my African friend as she said the were too well hung and they hurt her by going too deep. Another lady friend would not see Indian people, as she did not like the curry smell that they sweat. Some would call these issues racist, but the girls called them preferences. I have my preferences when I schedule. But some guys think that escorts should take all comers with Benjamins in their pockets.

Girls ask for things like age, ethnicity, etc. in screening forms. Unless they explicitly state that they don't see certain ethnicities, or guys under 35, etc., I wouldn't assume they don't. I'd just fill it out and see what happens.

I always find the "well I was raped or beaten up by a White man so I will not see White men as clients" Just like I know this hobbyist who will not see Latino women here because he said "I read somewhere that a high percentage of  Latino women have AIDS in South America." #Ignorance

For many is it racist and they have no problem telling you why and attempting to justify their racism as a preference.

I sometimes ask so I get a sense of what you look like when the door open. Not every one reaching out wants to send a photo of themselves to the provider they are trying to book with. I am open to all races as I screen for compatibility and safety, not for looks or ethnicity.

Since you put certain types out there I will reply....

Not every African American is well hung and goes deep. I have come across African American gentlemen that are sweet, gentle and not hung. I have come across many Indian men that don't smell like curry. I have come across white men that are hung and aggressive. I don't think it is fair to assume a certain ethnicity will be a certain way.

it's just to help me with screening, to know what I am looking for, I do meet new and old friends or different races, backgrounds, etc.

When I've asked, its usually more FOB (fresh off the boat) versus American men of different ethnicities. For example, I've heard providers not liking a certain race because they encounter a larger percentage than usual of those who like to argue and haggle over the fee.

I know some providers who won't see YOUNG black men, but have no problem with older black men.

Women screen for all sorts of reasons, I've been blocked before after a provider said yes at first, then looked at my P411 profile and then said no. I used to get offended. Still not fun, but plenty of fish in the sea.

I want to know who i'm seeing but my asking is not to discriminate.
I don't have anti-race/ethnicity policy of any kind.

Since we're not talking about someone serving me at a restaurant, renting an apartment to me, or something pretty impersonal, I would prefer to know upfront if someone doesn't want to see me for whatever reason and save my money for a nice experience with someone else which always involves the provider enjoying herself too (or at least good enough at faking it!).

I think skin color matters more than ethnicity in this hobby, both from the provider and hobbyist perspective.   Ethnicity is simply a correlation factor.  Skin color is the real discrimination factor.

Its well known that some providers  refuse to see dark skin Hindu, Middle Easterners and black with excuses such as they smell curry, they haggle, or they are too well hung.  Nonsense.  Many white smell and are  well hung too, specifically from the perspective of petite Asian providers. How come few, if any. providers refuse to see light skin East Asian who eat garlic, kimchi and haggle due to their cultural practices.

Providing is the most intimate personal service, so it is within the legitimate right of providers to reject seeing certain ethnicity they don't feel comfortable with.  Black hobbyists complained often for discrimination by providers, yet they can't file lawsuit for discrimination because providing is not a legitimate service to begin with.  Black complained that they need to tell providers upfront their ethnicity before booking so they don't get rejected at the door, and the darker their skin, the more likely that could happen.

Hobbyists are discriminating on skin color too.  A well known agency owner in the other board posted that she had trouble getting booking for black providers, and the darker their skin, the fewer call they get.  So to get more booking, she lightened up the photos for dark skin providers.  Black and Hindu hobbyists have specific crush on fair skin providers they may not get in real life.  Have you ever watched Bollywood movies?  The leading actors and actresses are all light skin and the bad guys and servants are mostly dark skin.  Except in sport, there are many more examples of successful light skin African American over their dark skin brothers.

When Martin Luther King said "Don't  judge a person by his skin color, but by his character."   It's just wishful thinking as the real world behaves exactly the opposite.

Yes but the question is if a man of color sees that question on her website should he assume she is a racist and not fill out her application giving his personal information?

Over the years I've had many providers tell me their reasons for not wanting to see certain races/ethnicities. Usually it's because of bad experiences they've personally had or their friends have had. I wouldn't automatically chalk it up to racism since there are providers who choose not to see clients of their own race. And some ethnicities have an unfortunate reputation of being cheap and trying to low-ball providers. On an individual basis none of those negatives may apply but, since a provider doesn't know you individually, she may use more general considerations to set her personal preferences. In answer to your specific question it might work well to try an initial call or email to get a sense of whether it's worth it to proceed further.

I would argue a K-girl would see a guy who 'smells' like kimchee (which really isn't the case, maybe breath versus overall body smell), because she is used to the smell.  I don't know if southeast asians mind curry smelling guys because they are used to it - I don't know many Indian girls who are FOB. The ones that I do know are 'bananas', meaning they look Indian, but they are American girls inside, and just look ethnic.

It sucks, but forcing somebody to do something they don't want to do - whether physically or verbally - isn't going to solve the problem, but just makes it worse.

The term used for someone who is brown on the outside but white on the inside is coconut :)

Maybe for the same reason that they ask about age?  Because one ethnicity commits, on average, violent crime at 8x the rate of all others, just like young men commit violent crime at much higher rates than older men, or men at higher rates than women?  Maybe because that same population group/ ethnicity/ race has STD's at about 10x the per rate of all other, on average?

If she is individually screening in detail with references and all the rest, racial background is probably of little added informational value.  If she's doing  broad screening and working the averages, avoiding certain ethnicities would be a highly effective method, more than merely screening by age.  Both together would eliminate most risk.

If she is doing that she is probably uneducated and has not been exposed to all races who are good people..Just like when DC had that sniper issue everybody thought "Let's look for the White guy because he fits the Profile." Or that Craigs List Killer the first suspect was supposed to be Black and he wasn't.

I grew up in a all white environment and trust me I have seen violent behavior that did not go reported. And in college there were a lot of white women who had STD's from White guys. Like I said there is good and bad in every race.

Whether clients agree/approve, or not, is irrelevant. Some preferences are because of safety concerns and some are due to other factors including, at least in some cases, the dreaded "R" word. But I've known several educated AA providers who choose not to see AA men at all. And others who had a minimum age requirement. Each one of them told me about the negative experiences that led to that decision. One important point to consider is that the average provider sees MANY more clients in a week or month than the other way around. They don't have enough time in the day to do individual research on every client, which means they need to develop some general screening guidelines. Some of those guidelines may be head-scratching, or even repugnant, but it's a waste of time and effort (IMHO) to try to figure them out, much less change them.

when pointing out differential averages between groups, it is a non sequitur to reply "but there are some of X in Y group too!"  Men are, on average, taller than women, even if some women are taller than some men.  Pitbulls are more likely to maul than Labradoodles, though some Labradoodles attack.  Men are, on average, about 8 times more likely to commit violent crime than women, even though there are women on death row.  Young men are on average more likely to commit violent crime than older men, even if there are some dangerous old guys.   Upper class people commit less crime on average than lower class people, though some poor people are saints and some rich guys are evil.   Blacks commit about 16x the violent crime per capita than Asians, even if there is a Yakuza (Japanese mafia) and Obama was a really nice family guy.    The larger the numbers involved the more the average differences will become realized, and a woman who sees hundreds of strange men a year will have far lower risks if she sees well off middle aged Asian men, and avoids young poor black men.  And no one factor matters to the exclusion of the others.  Take age- middle aged black men commit more violent crime on average than 18 year old Asian men.  Take class- blacks in the top 10% of the income commit crime at higher rates than Asians in the bottom 10%.   All factors matter, and are cumulative, on average.  A young poor black guy could be gentle and honest and many are, and a wealthy middle aged Asian woman could be a psychopathic killer, and some are, but that's not how the odds point.

I want to know who I am meeting.I do not have any restrictions on race I will see gents of any race as long as they are respectable. And sends in the required screening info.
When I am traveling and have incall I want to know who is coming to my door if he puts one race but someone else shows up at my door.I know this is not the person I screened.
Same for the way in my homebase where I am outcall I want to know who is going to open the door.
Has nothing to do with trying to screen out a certain race.
