Definitely slower on the regional boards than it used to be years ago
Ever since the US shutdown on here back in 2017 or 2018.
General Discussion board seems to get a lot of activity.I remember the day TER was active and no matter what you wouldn’t have to wait long for new topic or peoples replies. Seriously what does anyone who is still a member see in this place, the reviews and ads only, probably 😩.
It was a great place to have open conversations about almost everything. Now it could be days, weeks, months, or even years before a comment or view of a post. This place is dying or better yet dead and pointless to have discussion board when no one post or discusses thing.
Anyway I left for a long time before I’ll probably abandon it once again like so many other people have. I also remember there were a few members who brought people out to post. I’ve noticed most have been gone for years. Maybe they long in once in a while for nostalgia sake or reviews but there is no point of a discussion board anymore.
Maybe it’s time to crawl back under that rock again. So if anyone reads this sorry for my rant, end of discussion, happy playing and post new reviews at least if not discussion threads or your opinion I’m responding to a post.

Or who was the best last year and who were they.
Or continue your opinion on the inflation and economy in the hobby.
Don’t just sit there waiting for a new review or only reading new post. Please it making me depressed. Breathe at least one breath of life in this board or lay down and grow moss and die. Really, I know I’m talking to myself and the wall.

Whining here about the state of the message boards won't change anything and it's really annoying.
Whining and my observation are 2 separate things. Yes I’m a little disappointed in the lack of interest in discussion. But I see post with no comments but sometimes hundreds of views.

Well I do think there are more lurkers now than active participants. I think you're comparing this to the pre-FOSTA days and before TER shutdown USA access for a while. A number of people moved on, some I suspect just changed habits so just don't feel the need to post (or read).
While I don't see this as much on the DC board there has been something of a changing of the guard it seems with a different culture of posters starting to show up. Some of that might also be due to the P&R board's closure and spill over of pent-up need to flame/insult. That has created a bit more of a toxic environment at times making it less enjoyable to be here. That might be changing slowly though.

Have a hard time screening for Elite model.
They ask for a full clear ID which was absurd.
Seem like they have regulars and don't want new clients. Also, try to fish mongers that desperate to give them the pii.
How should I approach them and get a green light ?
Maybe they will accept a screenshot of your DL masking out you address. I remember others excepted that before. Otherwise fuck them. I’ll give up a lot of personal information but I’m not telling you where I live.

You're very naive.
It's very easy to get an address and plenty of other information with only a name and a DOB.
There's no way around it if you want in. (Unless you're reallllly good at Photoshop?). If you take average precautions to mask your identity LE can probably find you with a little more effort anyway. Providers risk safety, LE, personal lives. We risk safety, LE, personal lives. We all play Russian roulette -- the only question left is how many bullets in the chamber you're comfortable with.
A lot of providers are requesting no reviews. That presents a problem when trying to decide on a visit as I am a little hesitant now to see someone based on nice glamour pictures.
For me that is not a problem. Just don't see anyone you have any questions about. Even with reviews you don't get certainty, just some comfort level which most find sufficient. But if you're not getting anything but the ad, well there are clearly plenty of alternatives.
Stay comfortable my friend. (If you recall the old Most Interesting Man in the World Doe Equis ads)
I could be completely off base, but my impression is that forums in general are no longer as popular as they once were. After Usenet, forums were the primary way people would interact and converse with likeminded people online. But now there are a million alternatives, from Reddit to Discord. I think the average age of a forum user skews older. The kids just aren't into it.
I agree with you. But I remember the time when it was a busy place sharing intel with other to help with what we were doing here in the first place. Then all the other apps opened up and people were attracted to them like twitter which was a relief for the ladies on a testosterone filled board like this. Anyway I finally got connected to my health care provider and am now making plans to get treated and back to playing soon I hope.
